Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Good condition. Afternoon pace of play and oversight lacking
When you have a 6some playing together (short, no shirts and flip flops playing in front of you and keeping up with 2 groups in front of them you know it’s brutally. Way over priced but then again what golf course isn’t.
Not a great course.
We were told to do the cub course, or knowing the area or what to expect. We paid $59 each to play the child’s course. It was not a good experience.
11/10
Staff is always really friendly and the GM is the best they come! Lost my keys in a cart and he helped me track them down within minutes!
Fun executive course
My wife and I enjoy this course..it has challenge with its layout…not all par 3
Nice Executive Course
Nice and easy executive course. A few 300 yard par-4s and some very short (under 90 yards) par-3s. Very little water and few bunkers.
Great fun!
Thoroughly enjoyed the round and the challenge of the greens!
Nice Exec course
A nice course to work on your shirt and mid game. A couple holes to Tee it up.
Best par 3 I played in Az
I played the Cub at Deer Creek in 2022 and found the course to be in fair shape. But this time I thought the course had improved considerably. All but one green was in excellent shape. One tee box was a bit crowned. Fairways were also in great shape. Tried to use the range and chipping green but could not get on either as they were full. My only complaint was one woman working in the pro shop heard me tell someone that I was from Illinois. She asked were and then said she's is from Illinois and can't understand why anyone would want to live there. I just responded, that's your prerogative. But I would not let that prevent me from playing at this course again..
Really like the cub course.
Great staff and course conditions.
Love that you can drive the carts anywhere except the greens. It keeps the game moving good.
