Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Very Accomodating
Decent course that was a bit expensive due to being near the start of the Waste Management tournament.
Neighborhood Course
I would like to see the course clean up the grounds by removing falling branches. Pick up the trash, I think by upgrading a couple things you would really improve the looks of the course….. add benches around tee boxes and maybe add shrubs around tee box to border them add trash cans to keep golfers from throwing trash on ground.
Fun outing with my son.
Get in 18 in about 3 hours. Good workout for my irons. Fun party 3 from 75-210 yards. Always have a good time playing the Cub Course.
Just average
I was very happy with the friendly staff. After this it was a bit rough sledding. First off the gas carts appeared to be very old. The cart I had was very sluggish. The fairways were burned out. A lot of dead spots. Several times I had to find a patch of grass to move my ball too. My first time there and it was confusing at times trying to navigate the course. Not very well marked out. The greens and tee boxes were in very good shape. But on the 18th hole on the Cub course there was a ton of goose droppings and some was on the green. I added a picture of what a fairway looked like. Most of them were similar to the picture.
Cub course is poor shape
Fairways are dry scrubby grass. Random sprinkler breaks making muddy areas.
Review 2022
There is still a minor water management issue. Not as bad as before. As before, I still think the carts governors needs to be visited. It would make the rounds a little faster..
Great for confidence
This ( cub course) was great to play. Even only 3 and 4 pars, I enjoyed playing & getting a round in after last playing golf in October. I was a “single”’ & paired up with two really nice gentlemen., which was good b/c they knew the course. Really no cart paths, so I would not have known how to go to the next t box. I would play it again, as I’m not super competitive about golf. I just want to hit good shots. Perhaps will try the other course next time.
Fun at the Cub
Excellent place to get the rust off your game. Not your typical pitch and putt short course. Played early after a frost delay and scooted around quickly. Definitely recommend for the beginner or skilled player. A little pricey, but everything is more in January.
Great little course to work on short game. Bit dry but was fun round. Staff was great, cart a
lady found us twice in 18 holes
Expensive for an Executive Course
Pricey for what you receive. Most of the staff were cordial but nothing spectacular. Course was in ‘just ok’ shape. Very confusing on the hole to hole layout being that it was my first time here. No directions to the next holes. Almost tees off on the wrong hole twice.
There are better values out there.
Great for Junior Golfers
The cub course was super for my 11 year old grandson, we really enjoyed our round of golf.
