Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Short course was fun
Nice fun little short course par 59..we were out first on the day and had a great time with fresh greens, nobody rushing us it was fun I’d go back to play the par 72 course easily
No one cares.
There seems to be zero investment or interest in the course from the people that run it. The course is in extremely bad condition and the staff is average at best. There is mud and large puddles of water everywhere to include large piles of dirt in the middle of fairways. Specifically hole 10 and 17. You would expect higher standards from a course in a more affluent area like Chandler. The Ocotillo course is a true representation of Chandler. I do not plan to return and will not recommend this course to friends or family. The general feeling when I talks to friends about this course is that we wish someone would come in, take over and make is something special. The potential is there for this course but unfortunately Leadership is not living up to the potential which conveys the sentiment to guests that no one cares.
Not good customer service
When I booked the tee time throng Golfnow, I failed to choose the big course. That was my fault. When I explained the lady at the pro shop and asked if I could get a refund because there were no available spots for the big course, she told me I couldn't get my money back because i booked online. Supposedly Golfnow keeps all the money ant the course doesn't make money when you book online. I still can not understand how's that possible. Anyways I didn't play golf but still spent $50.
It's not even about the money. I just feel like I was lied to, and they were not wiling to help me. I woud have taken a tee time for a later date and would have paid the difference. Again it was my mistake for not checking what course i booked, it just bothers me that i wasn't offered a solution.
Nice Executive Course
Friendly staff on and off course.
Very decent restaurant and bar.
Blue and Red Tee’s. Nice challenge for the ladies to play off the blues.
2:20 for a round.
No washrooms on the Cub Course
Always enjoyable
I really enjoy the lay out of this course! Fairways were great! Greens were a little bumpy and slow. It was windy, but that’s no control of the course. I love this course though, it’s one of my favorite for the price point. I recommend to anyone interested. Staff was great. However, I accidentally booked the junior course on the golf now app. I would recommend that Golfnow makes it clear which course they are offering. Fortunately, they had a tee time available for us to play the full course at the same time.
Short game
Cub course. I booked it by mistake but it’s a Great little course to work on that shirt game.
Middle of July and it has not rained in 4 month. What did you expect for $20?
