Bear Creek Golf Complex - Cub Course
About
The Bear Creek Golf Complex offers two golf courses, one championship length course and one executive length course, the Cub Course. This sporty course is ideal for beginners and families. Like its sister course, the Bear Course, there are rolling fairways and well-manicured greens that have unique swales and collection areas. The design features five par 4s and the rest are par 3s, all of which vary in length. A round of golf on the Cub Course can be completed in less than three hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex also boasts several practice facilities including a lighted driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Around the course
Greens were good, and course looked pretty good...finished in about 2.5 hrs..
Fee gouge
We thought we were booked at the Bear main course given an average price of $45. In fact, we were booked at the Cub course. My wife made the reservation and she is not easily confused. Anyway we paid $45 to play a very basic pitich and putt although the Cub is classified as an executive course. I get the course is what is but to charge $45 for this track is a joke. The starter was a nice guy but his nose began to grow when he told us the course was in great shape. Hole 1 looked great but I was very disappointed the rest of the way. There are far better courses even at spring break for the money.
Marginal at Best
We played the cub course & it was just ok. Not really worth the amount we paid for green fees. Greens were marginal & somewhat bumpy. Get off the fairway & nothing but dead ground, like concrete or bad weeds. Virtually no real rough area.
Then whatever you do, DO NOT order chicken tenders at the grill because they were horrible & way over-priced.
66
If you need work on your iron game, this is the place.
Shot a 66 from the blues on a par 57
Met new friends
Although the round was longer then expected, it was more manageable due to fact that the twosome that we were paired with were very nice. We enjoyed the chats and small talked while waiting to tee off or in between shots so well we booked another round together for the following week. So overall, a good day!
Slow no ranger
Greens are not up to par, and there is no ranger, we played behind a twosome, that were shooting 10's on a part 3's.. goofing off....drinking ...
very poor
Please do not waste your time at this course. You can find other course for less money and much better lay out
Cub
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape. The greens were a little rough, but the course was in good shape.
Careful when booking
We booked on Friday and were thrilled to get a twosome early Saturday. All our normal courses had nothing. My mistake but it was not clearly marked. Bear Creek has a full sized 18. I was not Aware that they also have a par three layout. Ouch! My son and I are Good sticks and not what we wanted. Had a good time, course was fair which was expected. Par three layout was not.
