Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Super sick experience!

Absolutely loved this course! The AGM(Dell) and the ladies in the clubhouse were amazing. Not very familiar with Arizona courses but this was a great introduction to it! Overall great experience and I’d highly recommend coming here.

Really enjoyed the round today except it was 110 degrees out and it was cartpath only. Pretty rough on three 70 year old and a 80 year old.l

Awesome!

Great spot to play if you’re in the area. The course is well maintained and the staff is very accommodating. Course was in great condition for the time of year. Over seeding was happening so the greens will be perfect come peak season. Def would come back.

Course was just over seeded so cart path only but it was good. A bit wet in places so messed up a few shots but probable will be great in a couple of more weeks. Great service super friendly. Golfed here last year and will be back for some more golf.

Although the course just went through overseeding, it is in excellent shape. The greens are close to true. In a couple of weeks, Coldwater will be in tip top shape and is a ‘must-play’ course.

An added bonus: the staff (shout-out to Del, assistant manager) is super friendly & courteous and very accommodating.

Come and play one of the hidden gems in the West Valley golf scene!

I am local to the community and have never played the course. When I called the pro shop they were very helpful and they helped me get a tee time on short notice on a Sunday morning. The course was recently opened after reseeding and the course was in grape shape. I can’t wait to get back out and play another round.

Great course

Just played the course shortly after the overseeding and it’s in amazing condition. It’s also a very fun course to play with a couple of par 3’s and a majority of par 4’s & 5’s. Staff was super helpful and friendly can’t wait to come back for my next round and hopefully drop a couple strokes after the greens are dialed.

Course is in Az Summer shape, another words it’s brown. However, the fairways play true. The greens are the same. They hold and putt true.

PLEASE READ

The recent reviews at this course left me utterly disappointed. Played here about a year ago and the course was in ok shape and decided to return after seeing the recent reviews. The greens are in ok shape but inconsistent and the fairways are thin and brown. Almost wanted to put my ball in the rough the entire round which says something. Staff is great though and they provide water on course which is nice. You can definitely see the potential in the course and the staff working hard to better the course, but A LOT of work needs to be done

Course is Improving

This is one of my local go to courses. Good value course. The course had been in bad shape(greenskeeper issues), for a year or so , but has been improving the past few months. Staff is always great and cart ladies are super friendly. This round was pretty slow but Marshalls made efforts to speed up play. They can't ultimately stay with groups and make them play faster. Their efforts to resolve were appreciated. I had a fun time, per usual.
