Coldwater Golf Club

The course looks better every week we go. It is a challenging course for all levels. I have become a regular here and they have a cart key in hand as soon as I walk in. Excellent customer service and the price is unbeatable! For those who complain about conditions...try to remember what you paid.

I was visiting Arizona from Colorado and I was looking for a place to play golf. Coldwater golf course was the perfect place for that. When I first arrived the management was exceptional and very nice. Once out on the course the greens and course itself were beautiful. I would highly recommend this course to anyone in town or new to town. Also the bartenders are excellent for both at the turn and the end of your game!

Fairways have always been good. Even better now. Greens needed help. Much, much improved. Next work on tee boxes.

This is an awesome home course for My Boys and I. They have come along way and have made some great improvements to the course with in the last 6 months. I will definitely be coming back to play. The staff is amazing. I have always had a great experience here.

Great golf course for average golfers. Staff is very friendly especially Drew and Jacob. Great duo to have working at this golf course. They were very welcoming and fun to talk to. Course is challenging but very fun with some interesting Par 3’s. Great job coldwater

Me and a buddy were visiting from out of town on a quick work trip and decided to catch a round of golf while we were here. Cold water golf club was closest to our hotel and we were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful club house and extremely helpful staff

Greens much upgraded, course layout is challenging but tee boxes need alittle work but serviceable. Customer service was great and the new manager sat with us after the round and made us feel comfortable.

I consider Coldwater Golf Course in Avondale, AZ, my home away from home, and I’m there 2-3 times a week. Yesterday’s experience was something I’ll never forget. After teeing off on hole 1 during an 8:08 AM solo round, I realized I had lost my cell phone somewhere in the rough. My music cut out, and that’s when panic set in. I retraced my steps all the way back to the clubhouse and spoke with Del, who was behind the counter. Without hesitation, he called Joseph from the Cart Barn to help me search for the phone on hole 1.

Joseph and I went back to the course, and he started calling my phone as we retraced my steps. It felt like we were searching for a needle in a haystack, but they didn’t give up. Thanks to their determination, we found my phone, and they even let me redo hole 1 so I could start fresh. This level of customer service is truly above and beyond. It’s not just about playing golf here; it’s about how the staff genuinely cares for their customers.

I am in sales and travel to Phoenix a couple times per month. I play with my customers about once a month either in Scottsdale or Glendale areas. When I came across Coldwater Golf Club, I thought that because of the prices, the course would be mediocre lay out at best, dry and not well-maintained. But I was pleasantly surprised with the layout as well as the way the course looked and played. Since then, I bring my customers as much as possible because they love it as much as I do and you don’t have to pay a lot of money to play a great course. I played today and the greens are I almost perfect and incredibly well maintained, I can’t wait to come back. I almost didn’t want to post this review because when word gets out, the prices will most likely increase, but it’s only fair to the course and management for me to let people know what a great golf course this is.

We’ve been playing Coldwater for years. I like the layout, it’s a fun course to play. It’s not in good shape. The fairways have a lot of weeds, it looked like they haven’t mowed them for a while. A ball rolling down the fairway was stopped by the weeds as it was hit into the rough. The greens were in good show but very slow. However, overall, I have no right to complain. We paid $15 for the round, there were very few people playing and we were done pretty quickly. I’ll be back.
