Coldwater Golf Club
About
Located in the West Valley, the championship-length course at the Coldwater Golf Club boasts several different challenges for an interesting round of golf. There are elevated tees as well as several dry washes. There are two lakes providing water hazards on the golf course as well. There are also dramatic elevation changes caused by the mountainous terrain. Aside from the challenging game, the course also offers beautiful mountain vistas. The course has not only one signature course but two. The first is the modest eighth hole. Although it is short at 100 yards, it features an elevated tee and a triple-tiered green. Coldwater Golf Club also finishes with a signature hole. The beginning tee shot plays to an open fairway over water with a dry wash to the left, while the approach shot is closed-in by another wash to the left and a lake to the right.

Good quality for beginners
I played in the middle of the day as a solo so I was playing faster than most, and my pace was faster than the 2 groups in front of me. But the course itself is pretty well maintain, the greens weren’t in the best condition and were very fast. But I got a free bucket of range balls for being military before my tee time so that was really nice and the course was very affordable.
Afternoon Golf
Course is in need of some attention.
Greens are bumpy
Overall I had a great day
Better greens
Greens were like putting an a asphalt road with potholes. That is one part of the course that needs to be maintained at all times.
Home
Course has a fairly big swing in terms of conditioning. Can get pretty rough in the summer but when they get it in shape it is such a gem. Love it here
Normally a good course
Coldwater is one of my favorite courses but recently has not been up to the standards I am used to. I golfed there about 6 weeks ago and the course was great. This time the greens were brown and the fairway was yellow. I asked the starter and he said it was because they were getting ready for summer grass. I get it but don't charge the same price for a less than expected experience.
Greens full of mold and weeds.
Everey Green on this course is in terrible shape. The Greens are cut short, but the weed clumps make it very difficult to putt. It is sad that this course has gone downhill so fast. I will not be playing this course again.
Course conditions
Played course for the very first time Thursday the 9th. Tee boxes were just okay. Fairways were devoid of actual grass. Greens were like hitting onto concrete, and forget trying to putt. They were so dry and cracked balls landing on green left no ball mark to fix. Didn't even finish putting, just picked up cause I couldn't get a true roll. Worse conditions I've played in the valley. They should have paid me to be our there.
Can I get a refund or credit?
Course was in poor condition
Have not played the course in several years, it has the condition of the course has really deteriorated. The greens were almost unplayable.
Goat Track
I haven't played a course in worse condition in years. Clearly they either have a financial or grass disease issue. Almost no live grass. The greens were bumpy and dead. The traps were like concrete.
If we had been warned about the conditions, we certainly would not have paid to play.
Truly unfortunate. I've always enjoyed the course because you can score on it and there are a good variety of holes. Now I would not return unless significant improvements were made.
Terrible conditions
For spring, the conditions at this course were horrific. Greens were trash, fairways were brown. Felt like every shot was taken off dirt. Wouldn’t recommend.
What has happened to course?
I've played Coldwater for many years. Three weeks ago it was in good condition, lush green fairways and greens. But Monday it was all dried up and brown, similar to a course just before re-seeding. It appears that it has not been watered for some time.
Save your money
Oh boy where do I start. Tee boxes were mostly overgrown and patchy. The fairways were mostly dead. Great for the ball to run forever, not so much to hit off of. The greens were probably in the worst shape. They were mostly burnt with small tiny patches of grass. When putting, your ball would change direction, bounce, and lose speed depending on what you were putting through.
Coldwater
Very dry, dire need of watering. Greens were the worst I've ever seen them. will not be back anytime soon. Staff is great though.
