About
The course at Copper Canyon Golf Club is deceptively exclusive in that although the club has prestige and a luxurious atmosphere, there are some reasonably priced tee times. The layout features an interesting mix of holes that offer panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the south. The large, undulating greens that are framed by generous fairways are the trademark of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also sand bunkers situated throughout. This golf course offers four sets of teeboxes. Copper Canyon Golf Club has extensive practice facilities for golfers to use as well, including a full length driving range with several target greens, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a bunker.

Great value
The course has a great layout. Challenging for the average player. Greens had been arratred and sanded, but to be expected this time of year. Lots of sand traps.

Great course. The greens had been aerated and sand added. It made putting very difficult. Otherwise great.
Review
The course is in great shape. The staff is very friend. The pace wasn't too bad although it did slow in th front nine. Overall I would recommend this course anytime. It is great.
good views and open fairways
Great layout, fast greens, fairways in good condition
Great track but a little remote
Played on a Wednesday afternoon and got paired up with a couple of nice locals. Had a great time. Course is in good shape - especially for early September - and is a very nice layout with some good variety and very nice views. Bring your "Arizona seven iron" as anything off the fairway is immediately into rocky desert and a good designated club can save you from damaging your normal clubs (or you can just drop on the fairway of course). A bit out if the way - half hour from Sun City and a good hour or more from most areas of Phoenix - but worth the drive. One of the nicer public courses in the valley.
Absolute gem of a course
It rained all morning, so the course was a bit wet, fairways and greens. The ball would land and stick. But the sand traps were immaculately groomed. I absolutely loved to play this course. I'll definitely be back.
Very well maintained
Enjoyed the scenery, plant and animal life. Golf course in great shape for August. Staff very helpful.

A ways out but worth the drive . Troon does a nice job at this course.

Course was in excellent condition. All staff personnel were friendly and supportive. Would recommend this course to anyone
Beautiful as always
This course does not know it's the dead of summer. It was in beautiful shape from tee to green with only a few thin areas in some of the fairways. The greens are fantastic. We played at 12:30 when temps would hit 115 so we were about the only ones out there. Had the whole course to ourselves. While were extremely wrung out from the heat, the course didn't seem to notice it.
Good golf, if you're in the area
Nice course, but its a long way from anywhere. Greens were in excellent condition, fairways have some dry spots.
Great Staff
This place was amazing, from the moment I pulled in to bag drop. The Staff was very friendly! The golf course was in great shape. I will be returning soon.
Best Greens on west side
As usual, the course was in perfect condition. Tee boxes, fairways and especially the greens were perfectly manicured. Unbelievable how good the greens are considering the amount of play they have been having this golf season. Can't wait to go back.
Great course
Highly recommend!! Even though I think I hit every sand trap on the course it was simply a great course to play, even though the cart lady didn't make it to work that day.

Drive to the desert!
Still a good track and value for the money. Troon does a nice job of maintaining a busy golf course. Still a little drive to get there but worth the trip for a good game of golf.

Other then the windy conditions I had a awesome time. Will play again for sure. Staff was very friendly and helpful . Course was in excellent shape.
Way over rated!
The course is almost 1 hour West from Phoenix in a retirement community. Nice facility, but for $100 not worth the drive for and overrated muni course! The course was in good condition, but it was not at all worth the money or a rating of 4.5
