Copper Canyon Golf Club - Vista/Lake Course
About
The course at Copper Canyon Golf Club is deceptively exclusive in that although the club has prestige and a luxurious atmosphere, there are some reasonably priced tee times. The layout features an interesting mix of holes that offer panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the south. The large, undulating greens that are framed by generous fairways are the trademark of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also sand bunkers situated throughout. This golf course offers four sets of teeboxes. Copper Canyon Golf Club has extensive practice facilities for golfers to use as well, including a full length driving range with several target greens, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a bunker.

Copper Canyon is a jewel in the desert.
From the beginning of the day our experience was great. The cart attendants met us at the curb to take our bags and direct us to the clubhouse. The entire staff was great. The driving range is well stocked and manicured, the range and balls are included in the green fee. The golf course is absolutely impeccably kept even in the middle of the Arizona extreme summer heat. There is not a hole on the course that isn't interesting and challenging. Our group played in 3 hours and 25 minutes, very enjoyable. The greens are about "11" and true. All in all it was the best course we have played this summer and we travel every Wednesday all over the valley to play different courses. Highly recommend this golf course.
Great course Had a good time Playing this course
Course is Moderately difficult but has some holes that are quite challenging. This course is just short of pristine with great views of the desert and surroundings. I played the back 9 with a young man who joined up with me following a 3 some and we still finished in 31/2 hours. All in all I had a great day and got some great tips from a soon to be PGA Pro. I highly recommend adding this to a must play list.
This is our favorite "away from home" golf course to play.
Copper Canyon is extremely well maintained. The greens are the best in the valley.
Super Day
The course superintendant does a great job; it's always in great condition.
great value
the staff was very friendly; the course and greens are great condition, especially considering the time of year (summer); very quiet and peaceful setting
Worth the trip
Course was in excellent shape from tee box to green! Unlimited play and lunch included was a great value. If you haven't played here yet, you are missing out on a great course. Well worth the trip.
Best greens on the west side
Troon course always in grat shape fun layout greens that hold all summer
Perfect conditions, that it !
We visited this golf course for the first time and the course was in very nice conditions, but this is not a fabulous course design. Honestly, it is a very nice course and we enjoyed our day, but I won't play there anymore.
Great course
Awesome troon course wide lush fairways and smooth rolling greens. Great lunch also post round.
this course has the best greens in phoenix area
great course, fairways were perfect for this time of year and the greens were the best ive played on all year ....like putting on carpet.... go play this course you will love it ..price was worth the drive
Worth the visit
Great course for all level of players. Not the hardest course, but a fun course to play. Course will test your short game. Bunkers were well place for the miss place shot. Best course conditions, I have played all summer.
It's a Troon course.
This course had the best conditions of any I've played this summer. Greens are great, fairways are green and it takes an errant shot to find the desert.
Long drive but the practice facility and conditions are worth it.
great course great staff
A must play worth the drive! Great greens really hold well, fairways wide enough for all.
Superb greens.
More difficult than your average course in a retirement community, but very enjoyable. Lots of contour to many of the greens and just flat out beautiful.
Very Nice Course. Troon Conditioned, Troon Professional.
Course is fun and interesting, having moderate difficulty. Wide fairways with the appropriate hazards. Troubles abound if you don't think. Longer hitters can easily find trouble with errant shots. With careful play, shorter hitters can avoid nearly all problems. Fairways and greens-bunkers were perfectly maintained and well-placed. Greens are large and only moderately difficult. Plenty of water hazards to interest everyone.
A pleasant experience for women golfers. The four tee boxes accommodate all levels of golfers, and they are very well maintained. Tee boxes for women allow the advantage they should have. This makes it quite fun for them as well. Great course for husband and wife outings. Ice-cold drinking water is available on all par 3's. Well-placed to keep you hydrated.
Very nice pro shop, restaurant and lounge.
Highly recommend the course. The only drawbacks are the course is located a fair drive from the city and restrooms are not abundant.
Overall, my wife and I thought it was fun, interesting and a great value in the off-season. Give it a try and enjoy yourselves. We sure did! Thanks Troon!
nice Troon facility...
Shot even par from the tips, not because I'm a scratch golfer but because the greens had just been punched and sanded. Makes a huge difference when u can shoot right at the flags and the ball will bite. Overall it's a fun course ,the fairways are super wide but well hunkered on one side or the other,so working the ball away makes it fun off the tee. Great staff and range area just like atost troon courses. It's worth the drive ,but give it about two weeks for the greens to recover, should be perfect by then.
Nice course, well maintained, GPS would be very helpful
For 1st time course players, this course can be difficult to maneuver w/o GPS; The map on the scorecard is inadequate when trying to determine distances to hazards (Water, sand, dog-legs, etc)
