Shadow Hills Golf Club

A little warm but still very enjoyable playing on good course conditions. Appreciate the available ice for water bottles. Well worth the drive from out of town.

Fairly generous fairways, challenges added with water features and bunkering/waste areas. It's a very fair course with longer par 4's and there are five par 3's. Greens rolled on the faster side with nice contouring to make putting challenging. First timers need better assistance from staff to find water/ice machines, directions to #1 tee, and where and how to access restrooms.

On a Sunday, the snack bar ran out of hot dogs and polish. Was left with a premade sandwich. Also out of most beer.

Cashier demeaned our hometown location as that’s where all the liberals are. Not the friendliest ‘hello’.

Teed off at 12:35, close to 100 degrees. The staff in the office was nice but the starter was a crusty old guy that acted like he didn’t want to be there. We had an interaction with another employee near the cart return area and he was less than pleasant too. The course was in very decent shape considering that it will shut down for over-seeding in less than a week. Greens were firm and medium speed, fairways were good, tee boxes were fairly level and tidy (no broken tees, etc). Always look forward to playing this course. There are no off course amenities.

Due to recent storm fairways were rough in spots but otherwise course was great 👍

Booked as single. Upon arrival was informed only 9 holes were open. 3 some I joined didn't show. I would have not have booked had I known it was 9 holes only. Conditions were typical of this time of year, dry and thin.

We were not informed by Golfnow or course that front 9 was closed. Pro Shop did not tell us. Starting back 9 for second time, they put out 4 maintenance staff in front of us who had never played golf.

Bad experience.

Great value for price. Played back nine twice. Good shape fairways greens. Good variety hole layout.

This course is excellent; my only complaint is that when reserving on Golf Now, there was no mention that the front 9 was closed and that we had to play the back 9 twice. We should be notified on Golf Now when a course is only offering one 9, but charging for the full 18.

TEEOFF never mentioned only back 9 is open for play - they should be ashamed of their booking practices - Proshop was indifferent when mentioned to them.

Back 9 was okay, interesting holes and layout with plenty of bunkers. Not the best conditions, but have played worse recently. Would consider again when full course is open and conditions improve.

Was not made aware when booking and found out only after warming up and heading to first tee that only the back 9 was open. Front 9 closed due to rain damage.

Really like this course unfortunately they did not inform me the front 9 was closed for repairs when booking. Fairways, tees, and greens are in very good condition considering it’s late September.
