Couse in good shape for amount of play it gets. Only back nine open so play was agonizingly slow. Have to remember to call course before booking. Would not play again.

Pace of play was awesome but only the back 9 was open so we had to play it twice. There was no food/beverage cart, snack shack was limited and not much else as for offerings. The price was decent at $50 per round but it would have been nice to know only the half the course was open.

But had a good round of playing the back nine twice

Late Saturday, I booked an early Sunday tee time. When I got to the course, the pro shop staff asked: “ Did GokfNow let you know the front nine is closed and you’ll play the back nine twice?”

No. No one told me that.

(The front nine is closed due to flooding from Hurricane Hilary ONE MONTH prior.)

There is no reason that (course closure) is not noted prior to reserving the tee time.

They didn’t tell us the front side was closed due to storm damage , back was nice but playing it twice was not what I expected.

Enjoy playing at Shadow Hills South but it would have been nice to know the front nine was closed and I would be playing back nine twice.

They don’t tell you until you arrive that the front 9 is closed so you have to play back twice. Lawn crew never stopped and were in fairways whilst trying to play and club house rep completely ignored my feedback on this.

The course was in okay condition for what you got. You only get the back 9 twice which is never fun. Also no one told us until we saw spoke with the starter. Terrible experience. Will never return.

The course has been affected by the recent historic storm that passed through the area two weeks before I played so it’s a little unfair to be critical. Front 9 homes weren’t available so you had to play back 9 twice. For the most part the fairways and greens were really good. A few areas where flood water damage was experienced.

I will go back and check it out when the repairs have been completed

This course was awful. The course looked like they have ran out of money and I know it is foreign owned. Nothing in the pro shop,total of 3 dozen balls. Really dirty. Will not go back.

It is exactly what you expect, beautiful especially in this hot summer time, fairways were green, the greens where green but recently punched but the ball still rolled well. very quick round finished in about 3 hours. only bad thing this course had was the bunkers they need to be refilled and raked once a day maybe

Played with my son, grandson and my wife. a somewhat windy day, and my 14 year old grandsons is now outdriving me but everything else was great.

This course and staff are VERY NICE and it's a great value on GolfNow.com. I teed off at 10:45 AM as a single and never had to wait. Greens were almost healed from sanding so a little slow. Most greens have breaks from gentle to significant so reading/playing the breaks was fairly demanding. Fairways are better than most and only had a few thin and/or brown spots. Tee boxes were fine. This was my first time playing here. I really enjoyed the layout and course views. I will be back!

Nice and gun course. There are a lot of bunkers that really test your game around the greens. Sand in bunkers is semi soft so it can be challenging to discern how hard to it but this is golf. The tee boxes were in perfect condition the fairway had a few spots where there were multiple dry patches. It is getting warmer so it makes some sense. There were also random spots where the ground was extremely wet so there may be some random spots where the ball will just sit, this may be do to a water leak or small valleys where water accumulates. The greens were recently aerated so there was a bit of a harder read and rolls happening but still fun. There are multiple holes where you have to hit over water so come prepared with extra balls just in case as my buddy needed some. I would definitely play again. Just a bit windy at times due to being close to the freeway.
