Fantastic condition beautiful fairways !and greens.

Nice staff and course was in good condition after re-seeding for the fall. Due to early sunset in LaQuinta area we were chasing sunlight. Absolutely a ghost town when. we got finished. no food/bev options at the end. Gotta say that is was an absolute blast to play here though

Had a nice round at Shadow Hills. Course was in great shape after the over seed. In fact, it was even wet in spots to keep the grass up to snuff. Tough greens with lots of shelves and fall offs. Had a blast playing in right up to dark

Very nice course with wide fairways and lots of sand.

First time playing Shadow Hills South. We found a great price ($55) for an afternoon tee time (1:30 pm) knowing that we could not finish the round and treated it more as a 9-hole experience. As it ended up, we were able to play 13 holes and really enjoyed the course ... what a great find. But what made it even a more enjoyable round was the staff. Guys in the pro shop were very friendly. The starter was even better, arranging for us to go out 15 minutes early. But the most revealing part of our experience came when the starter learned that my wife had recently tore a muscle in her shoulder and couldn't play ... so he arranged for us to get a rain check and then she was still allowed to ride along with myself and the other couple playing with us. How nice! Before our round we had a beer at the outside small cafe ... very nice and very reasonable. After our round we noticed that the restaurant was very busy and went by to check it out. It was a Monday Night Football event with specials. We couldn't stay, but it certainly looked like a good spot. Bottom line ... great course (challenging, but fair) in great condition run by some very friendly and helpful staff who wanted us to enjoy our experience. We already have booked a future round!

This course is a pleasure to play as it has a great layout and is quite challenging. However, unless you are a member or are familiar to the staff, they are not very friendly.. I've played this course a few times and this is pretty much what I've come to expect.

Course conditions were quite good considering it recently re-opened after over-seeding. It will be excellent in a few weeks. Carts had to remain on the cart path at all times and greens were slow but that was to be expected.

Very reasonably priced…friendly layout, great shape…very good value

This is a fun course. It is challenging for all player levels. The course is one of the best maintained I have played especially late in the season. We enjoyed the experience tremendously. Renovation of restaurant was the only disappointment.

Great value….reasonable cost on a very enjoyable layout.
