Shadow Hills Golf Club

My group plus three groups behind us were held up by the martial, waiting on the first tee forty minutes past our tee time before we were able to start our rounds. It was 100 degrees. We had to wait for ladies league to finish. Ridiculous booking management Many in the waiting groups decided not to play and went back to try to get refunds. We played after the long wait, the course was just ok.

Delayed 55 minutes waiting for last grp of ladies. Club house said nothing about them having priority over scheduled tee times. Several golfers left course. Course Marshall told one group "go ahead and complain at the club house, but I'm not letting you go till they are finished"

No on course amenities!

Restaurant was closed when we finished our round at about 2pm!

For 1st time visitor, would not recommend the course to other tourists.

The south course played great. Well maintained and difficult of you go off line. This time of year theres no on course cart service bug you being your own stiff and it’s all good. Fairways were groomed, rough was….well….rough!! Greens played slow for my liking but overall this is superb value for a well designed and maintained course. I will be back.

Overall condition of course and layout was fine.we were the first tee time and we were told we better play fast.2 people in our group stopped at the turn for food .I told them we would play on and they could join us after they got their food on the 11th tee .Although they skipped a hole so they wouldn't slow things down they were yelled at by the 80 year old Marshall. I wont be coming back we finished in 3 and a half hpurs

Greens burnt out from about 12-16, but the course was in good shape for the late summer. A lot of attitude out of some of the staff members though.

We had a 9:22am tee time on August 27th 2022. It was already 99 degrees by then. They wouldn't allow me to play at first because of my non-collar Travis Mathew shirt, so I had to purchase a collared shirt from their pro shop. Good thing they were 50% off...otherwise would have cost me $83 for a shirt. I loved that they had a cooler and free ice for the golf cart. The course was basically wide open for us. Not many people playing. By the time it was 11am it was nearing 110 degrees. It was hot!!! We loved the actual course. Tons of sand and bunkers and water shots. Very challenging course design. Just wished it was cooler! Would totally recommend.

I have played most of the courses in the valley. This one is a hidden gem. A resort style course so it is good for all levels of play. Hank in the Pro Shop is hysterical. Ask him about Buchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia.

Love playing Shadow Hills South. For summer play the course is maintained extremally well. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Love playing Shadow Hills.

On a hot summer day, it was a breeze to play 18 if fully hydrated. Fun for short hitters.

Considering the extremely hot weather, this course was in great shape. It was so good and fun to play we chose it to play twice during our two week stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, from the clubhouse to the starter. These were the best fairways and greens we encountered in our two week stay from 7/3 until 7/17, it was well over 100 each day.
