Course was awesome.. staff was wonderful and will like to try the course again. wish there was a marshal to get people moving.. there cannot be that many disabled players.. they park their carts so close to the green which costs several thousand dollars., it’s tragic when people abuse the disabled placards for golf if they truly unable to walk how can u participate in a sport which requires several factors balance, strength ...

This course has really changed since Troon took over management. We played it 2 years ago and the layout was nice but a little rough around the edges. Now the entire course is immaculate and was in super condition the day we played. We were able to play in under 3 hours so the pace was great. The greens were smooth and fast and the ball held nicely. Would highly recommend this one.

I forgot how nice Shadow Hills golf course is and fun to play. Nice wide fairways and true greens. Should you get the chance go play at Shadow Hills.

What a fantastic course. Well maintained. Not too difficult but some holes were challenging. Would definitely play it again.

Must play course, pace of play was great, snowbirds have left the valley and now it’s time to play quick golf. Greens were running true with good speed. Must play and I will play it again this summer. Glad they flipped front and back nines, nice to finish coming into clubhouse

Played front nine with no delays. One hole was flooded, which the pro shop said nothing about. At the turn there were about 60 golfers getting on the course for a shotgun start. Needless to say the course was plugged. Turned around and went in and was told by the pro shop staff and later the manager in an email, that that’s the way the course operates. They look after the members of the Resort first. All I wanted to know was why we weren’t told upon signing in. The manager said it was a private course but did allow the public to golf. Never will I golf this course or recommend it to any of my friends.

Rode the Blues (6467/71.5/130) on a GN "Hot Deal" with Hillary in 3.5H. The weather was clear, breezy and in the mid 90's. First time I had played here in almost 5 years. Most holes are lined on both sides with nice track homes. Tight in places layout that offers a good variety of holes. More than average amount of sand and water features adds to the difficulty. The tees were excellent, lush and nicely maintained. The fairways were mostly lush and many were near immaculate. A few were thinner and showing signs of the recent heat wave. The rough is a mixture of grasses and 95% is maintained low. Not very penal in most places except for the designated ornamental patches of wild grass that they grow high that is an almost sure lost ball. The sand traps were near perfect. Nice, thick, excellent quality white sand. The back nine greens were very good, firm and medium fast. The front had several greens that were browned and not in as good of shape. Troon facility, complementary balls on the all grass driving range comes with your daily fee. This is a good course, everything about it is above average, the layout, the condition, the customer service etc. However, it just does not stand out in an area that has many excellent courses within 10-15 miles. Recommended.

Great course! Excellent conditions. Challenging course. Test yourself from back toes for the long hitter. If not blues are challenging as well.

Pace was good.

Staff was no where to be found at 7 am or 12 PM. I always have money for cart attendees, but no one was there??

Play occassionally for 10 years.

Try to play it each time I come to PS. Always in wonderful condition, has just enough challenges to make it interesting but not too much for the average golfer to manager. As always, staff are superb. Would not hesitate to recommend this to others.

Very nice course. Lots of water and big deep hunkering.

Not much to say other than nice fairways, tees, lightning fast greens with challenging undulations, ots of beautiful white sand bunkers, wide fairways, long par threes some of which are painful, and last but not least country club atmosphere.

Top notch facility.
