Shadow Hills Golf Club

I had a 12:00 tee time. I tell the starter I’m at 12 and he responds “yes I know, everyone has 12:00 and it’s a shotgun start with two groups on every hole “. They had a ladies tournament in the morning. I understand you have tournaments, but you must tell people before they get to the starter. Nobody before that told me it was a shotgun start, not in the booking or the ProShop check in. Poorly run and unprofessional in my opinion. Bad on you shadow hills and worse on GolfNow. I could have booked a time for anything around twelve and not been told until I got to the starter. Imagine if I’d shown up for a 1:30 time and missed the shotgun. Lesson learned-call the golf course and don’t use a second rate service

When I booked the round I did not know it would be a shotgun start. It was complete chaos when we arrived. Not enough carts and starter didn't even have our name on the sheet. He wasn't very friendly to my wife and didn't even tell her what hole we were starting. I went back to the started and they inserted us on a hole and we had no instructions how to get there. We ended up just starting on the 10th tee because we got lost. The course was fun and in good shape. it would be nice to know in advance if there is going to be a shotgun start. We would have arrived earlier.

Booked this for a Saturday - not having played this course. Enjoyed the course and pairing. NOT pleased with not knowing was a shot-gun start. Booked 12:45; and didn't get started until after 1PM. Should not have been more than 4 hours - finished in 4.5. Waited at EVERY hole.

Starter not the friendliest.....

The course was in good shape and the pace of play was also good. Enjoyed our round and will try and play it again.

Let me first say I really like this course to play. What happened today was not really cool. I showed up for a 12:45pm tee time and lo and behold it’s a shotgun steer with sole holes having more than 2 groups on its. I sit hear now waiting to tee off on my 5th hole of the day, 80 minutes into the round. Way too slow and not what I was hoping for. No marshall to control play. Stick behind a super slow 4 sole who has managed to fall an entire hole behind despite there being extra groups loaded onto the course.

Guessing this round wlll take 5+ hours and might not even finish with a 12:45pm tee time. Totally ridiculous to not advertise this as a shotgun start as I never would have booked this tee time.

The course is nice. Staff did ok with being overrun holy literally 100+ golfers showing up at once

The course had a tournament in the morning. Our round was booked for 12:30 which gives us enough time to golf before sunset. As soon as we arrived we noticed the couse was packed and the unfriendly starter told us our T time was running at least 30 minutes late. We waited the 30 minutes and quickly calculated our T time would be closer to an hour late meaning we would not finish the round we prepaid for using GolfNow. This course was completely oversold. I wouldn't recommend this course or prepaying through GolfNow.

I played the green/white combo tees which was perfect for my game. Nice mix of various yardage par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s.
