Shadow Hills Golf Club

Let me first say I really like this course to play. What happened today was not really cool. I showed up for a 12:45pm tee time and lo and behold it’s a shotgun steer with sole holes having more than 2 groups on its. I sit hear now waiting to tee off on my 5th hole of the day, 80 minutes into the round. Way too slow and not what I was hoping for. No marshall to control play. Stick behind a super slow 4 sole who has managed to fall an entire hole behind despite there being extra groups loaded onto the course.

Guessing this round wlll take 5+ hours and might not even finish with a 12:45pm tee time. Totally ridiculous to not advertise this as a shotgun start as I never would have booked this tee time.

The course is nice. Staff did ok with being overrun holy literally 100+ golfers showing up at once

The course had a tournament in the morning. Our round was booked for 12:30 which gives us enough time to golf before sunset. As soon as we arrived we noticed the couse was packed and the unfriendly starter told us our T time was running at least 30 minutes late. We waited the 30 minutes and quickly calculated our T time would be closer to an hour late meaning we would not finish the round we prepaid for using GolfNow. This course was completely oversold. I wouldn't recommend this course or prepaying through GolfNow.

I played the green/white combo tees which was perfect for my game. Nice mix of various yardage par 3’s, 4’s and 5’s.

The staff is great, and the course is fine. Fairways and greens are all in great shape. There's just nothing special to make it any better than 3 stars. The carts are older with no frills, and there are no WOW moments on the course. Good value, but I suggest you spend more money and go to one of the more prestigious courses in the area.

They claimed to have a 1/2 hour frost delay but the nighttime never dropped below 44 degrees. Then it was a shotgun start for 103 players at 1:30 pm and we weren’t able to finish before dark

My advice stay away

Good condition. Greens are fast and smooth. Fun layout and challenge too. We liked to played here again next week .

There was no indication this was a shotgun start. The course was nice and it was fun. Staff were not friendly bordering on rude.

Kinda busy for start of 1245 shotgun , little chaotic , no carts our cart lost charging on 6 hole , , no water on course concessions closed at 3pm ! Restaurant is very good !

Great course and user-friendly fairways.

However, without being advised my tee time was after a ladies league play that was quite delayed hence course did not honour the GN booked tee time. Dud not finish 18 holes.

When booking on the weekends be aware this is a double shotgun start. If you are intent on playing g a course like the architect meant it holes 1-18 do not play here. You have no idea which hole you will start on. There is a shotgun in the morning and one in the afternoon. If the morning is slow forget about finishing the round in the evening.

Staff had no idea when the afternoon start was going to be.
