We really enjoyed it, pace of play was right around 4 hrs. We would come back.

We've played this course many times in the past years. This was our first time in two years. The course is in rough shape compared to what we've seen before. Lots of dead spots in the fairways on the back nine. This course was always in pristine condition, so I'm not sure what happened. The place is BUSY, but we played in just over 4 hours. The greens were still great, so we'll give it another try. I'd like to see it in 5 star shape again.

35/40mph.....really? It exists in wind alley so don't be surprised .....

I liked this course. We played in windy conditions and I was told that this occurs quit often. The greens were tough but in excellent condition. There were several sand traps that were rocky but overall the course was nice. I would play their again

Long fairways with upward side slopes. Elevated and challenging greens are well guarded by sand traps. Water hazzards are features rather than obstructions. As the fairway runs through the community at a lower elevation, the chance of errant ball hitting a residence is minimized. But so is the view!

fairways were great, sand in bunkers was really good and the greens are really challenging. the only gripe outta my control was we started an hour late due to frost. but well worth the wait!!

We arrived on time but due to a frost delay it was backed up. The weather was cool. The pace as somewhat expected was very slow so it took us over 2-1/2 hours to play nine. There was no way we could have finished the back nine so we quit after nine. We were not issued a rain check as we had booked on Golf Now. The course was challenging however the fairways were cut vey short in some most areas and were in poor condition in others. Greens were good. T-boxes were somewhat chewed up. I am. Not sure I will return as there are many other courses that are much nicer than the $89 we were quoted. I would rate it more like a $45 to $55 value.

Long course with wide fairways that make it reasonable for us amateurs. In good condition.
Like the 'gate' system. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Course was closing in two days for winter seeding yet still very playable. Great Staff and Excellent Facility

Shadow Hills South course has nice variety and good challenges. We enjoyed playing the course so much we have booked our next two rounds there as well. Nice touches inlcude no charge range balls and several practice greens. Looking forward to the next round!

Shadow Hills is a solid, price performing golf course. The staff is extremely helpful. Course conditions were excellent, pace of play was good and the setup presented a fairly challenging experience. No doubt I would play it again..

Fairways condition were great but greens and sandtraps were below expectations even for this time of the year. Staff is exellent.

As a full time desert resident, I play a lot of valley courses. I play Shadow Hills several times a year and this last time was a true pleasure. Course was in great shape from the fairways, bunkers to greens.

Me and my son played Shadow Hills with another twosome for the first time. Course was is very good condition. Not long, but challenging with plenty of water and bunkers. The staff was very friendly, with free range balls included with your tee time. This course was a really good value, and we very much recommend it for others.

Not really knowing what to expect i was pleasantly surprised with the quality and standard of the course and staff attitude. The only minor disappointment was being made to tee off on hole 10 due to a ladies group block booking the first tee, my first round would have been nice to have played in the correct order! That aside the course was excellent, the starter was a particularly friendly guy who even drove out to us after 8 holes to take our halfway house order!
The mix between challenging holes and forgiving holes was just the right for a 10-20 handicapper and i really enjoyed the experience, will definitely return for another round in the near future.

Just played here for the first time. The pictures don't do it justice, the course is amazing. Its the end of September and while most other courses in the desert are brown and dried out Shadow HIlls is still in great shape, I cant imagine how it looks in peak season. The course is very playable, fairways are not too narrow, water and bunkers are well placed. I have played at so many courses in Palm Springs but this was such a nice course, and the staff were so nice that this the first course that I felt I had to write a review.

Bring lots of water as the facility only has drinking water at the club house and not on any tee box. Still an excellent golf course to play.

It was very hot but we played in 3 hours. You cannot get on this course during the season so it was fun to play.

Summer pricing for this course is over rated, did not get the vale for the money, the greens are punched . The greens were rated at 9 however due to the unevenness and bumps the greens were playing like a 6 .
There are other courses offer better value for your money.
