Victoria Hills Golf Club

They are doing a great job bringing the course back from the dead. Still have a ways to go, but very playable.

Course is steadily improving in condition. Good value for the money.

My weekly travel group gave up on Victoria Hills a year or so ago as the course was virtually unplayable.

Very happy to say it is back to about 90% of where it could be, given the area standards and cost.

The greens are good, but at this time they were very slow and it lead to a lot of 3 putts. The fairways were generally nice, better than some of the other regular courses we play here in Volusia County, and the rough has grown in nicely. Sand traps acceptable and the staff quite friendly and accommodating.

A word about the driving range - the area we were allowed to hit from was mostly sandy - mats would have been better and I know most of us hate to see mats at the driving range.

All in all the course got a positive response from my group and we will put it back in the rotation until the winter rates come in - curious to see how much they raise them

Every time I play at Victoria Hills seems like the course is getting better and better four stars layout great pace of play Love this course, I will come back more often

OMG. I had not played this course for over two years due to the conditions. But what a turnaround I saw today. The new superintendent is doing a great job. Tee boxes were acceptable, fairways were excellent, and greens are just a few touch ups from excellent. The layout is probably the best in Volusia County. The hilly terrain makes this course so unique. Decent driving range and good putting green. Employees were friendly and they had plenty of employees working on the course. This is just a minute away of being the gem it was a few years ago. Nice job!!

Course is coming along well. Should be good by next year. The bad part is the organization. They have one “starter” on a weekend, he doesn’t have a clue how to put people together. If you’re a single, good luck. You have a tee sheet group people. Stop letting people out 40 mins ahead of time leaving singles stuck. If you don’t want singles, stop offering tee times here.

Lore and Legend has it so I’ve been told that in it’s early days when first opened that it was in the top 5 courses in the entire state of Florida…. Now that say's to me if true this lis one fine daily fee golf course. Sorry to say tho that the good ole Vic is in not so good of shape starting with the tee boxes, fairways and greens in somewhat close to being unplayable in recent months, but alas things are on the up swing ! Greens were almost completely healed and puttable once again. The price is right and hopefully conditions will continue to improve.

This course is like a long lost friend. This course when it first opened was in my top 5 golf courses in Florida. I see progress in tee boxes and fairways, greens need work but are better than a year ago. I will be back. Played in a downpour but enjoyed every minute. They flipped the nines I like original setup better.

I have never seen a course get this much better this quickly. I stopped playing it a few months ago because the greens were gone. But then I heard it was back in good shape. It was in great shape, from tee boxes to fairways to greens. Nice job staff!
