Good golf course. Greens seemed to be in rough ish conditions, not sure if it was because of the time of year.

The greens and tees need a lot of work but I really liked the layout

The front 9 the greens are just about all mud and sand, on the back 9 they are better but are not smooth and looks like goose-grass has invaded them. The fairways and tees are awful, in the fairways they only way to hit a shot is to find a smooth weed to put it on. They have roped off areas around the greens but no evidence they are doing anything to actually fix those bare areas! The Driving Range is full of weeds and I had to use a tee to hit every club to get a decent lie, crazy! Hard to believe this course once held PGA qualifying tournaments and College tournaments. It is truly a disgrace what ownership has let happen here!

An absolutely beautiful layout in deplorable condition. Green tee (5500) were more sand and weeds than grass. Most of the greens were full of unwanted materials and dirt. Fairways and adjacent areas are mostly hard pan with sparce area of weeds. I saw workers on the corse - appears their efforts are just not getting the come back done. I played the course on a $21 hotdeal and had a $10.00 discount. With tax I had $13.00 in the round - if the opportunity presents itself again I WOULD NOT spend the $13.00 to play at Victoria Hills. It is an absolute shame this beautiful course has slipped to this point.

It sure could be a nice course to play if they would improve the conditions. I talked to maintenance guy and played back nine with someone who lives on course. They said they recently hired a new groundskeeper and they said it appears as though he is going to make improvements. Back nine greens were recently focused on and they were in pretty good shape compared to the front. I only paid $22 and knew going in what to expect. Lots of potential. Pay the $22 and go work on your ball striking.

This was always a treat to play I won’t be back until the course is back to its potential.

It’s just sad what has happened to this course, fairways you have to try and find some grass greens slow and dandy.

The course has an interesting layout. Lots of bunkers. Very friendly staff.

Not ideal conditions but a good value and a fun course.

Found an old score card from 2003 for VH how funny this is. On the front of the score cards it reads-“A top ten you can play in the U.S.”-home course of Stetson University. Registered Audubon Sanctuary.

In 20 years it went from premier to barely playable What happened to the birds?

Great layout however a mold or fungus has impacted the the front 9 greens and some on the back 9. The Bermuda grass on the greens will recover in the spring because they are dominant for the winter. Traps and fairways were satisfactory.

First time playing at this course, started in hole 1 and the fairway looks beautiful, the green not so much, it was a hit or miss the rest of the course. Only a few greens looked great. I think if they can work on the green this could be a wonderful course. Staff were great and very friendly.

It’s very sad to see how poorly taken care of this place is, as all other amenities seem to be top-tier. The greens were full of dirt and uneven grass overall very poor conditions. It’s a shame because I really like wanted to like this place.
