The Eagles Golf Club - Forest

Course conditions are bad, putting green and range is horrible. Play was extremely slow, late for tee time due to over booking had to wait 30 mins to get a cart because they was all out on course. Will never play this course again and they want $50 to play this horrible course.

They took a long time to get carts out. Apparently not enough of them on a busy day. Once out the pace was good. Course in good shape and I enjoy the layout!

the tee boxes are disgusting. its like they havent done anything to them except drop grass seed on them. a couple of greens have hydraulic leaks from the machinery which has killed the grass.

Brief synopsis: I've played this course since the late 80's when there was a trailer for a clubhouse. The course has always been an average course but for the money it was nice to play. I have lived in the Eagles for over 20 years. The course right now is in the worst condition that I have seen in quite some time. We played the Forest course yesterday (02/24/22) and EVERY tee box was like hitting out of a sand trap. You couldn't find grass anywhere. (White tees). The tee boxes are not level sonics even difficult to find a flat surface to hit off of. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were so so. Very disappointed especially for $60. Should have been charging half that for the condition its in. Will not play here again until these issues are addressed and taken care of. I still live here but will definitely travel to play other courses. The driving range has always been horrible here but it does prepare you for the tee boxes.

This is a challenging course, especially the back 9. The fairways were in great shape, but the tee boxes (sand) were non-existent on most holes. The greens were scarred by some type of machinery and also had many sandy patches. I have come to expect more from such a nice establishment and community.

The tee boxes were in rough shape. The greens were also inconsistent with rough areas. I have found this to be a fun course in the past, but the course could use a little love.

Most tee boxes from the white tips were in pretty bad shape. Also 3 greens were pretty rough too. It was not this way when we played here about 5-6 weeks ago.

We love this course, but it’s not in a good shape not sure what happened.

The greens are not good, there is no grass just dirt, hopefully they are re-doing the greens or someone screw up very bad.

Usually is in shape , again I hope is just renovation.

Very nice day at Forest Golf Course. Paired with two very nice gentlemen, and enjoyed a enjoyable afternoon of golf on one of the areas better public courses. Recommend this course and will definitely play it again.

The course was so over booked or under equipped 30 people were waiting for carts.. Tee times were 30 to45 mins behind. No one word of apology or offer to compensate.. 1 hour drive to turn around.
