Played as a Single. Hit 3 balls to stay in between 4 somes.

Tees are ripped up, but greens and fairways are nice.

Interesting layout. Grass showing winter dormancy.

But worth $30.

Having played a couple muni's in my first week here, I have to say my visit at the Forest course was far superior. No offence to the others but, pace of play and course conditions were wonderful. A few greens could have been a little better, but it"s early February.

Will be back for the Lakes.

Coarse in good shape, and greens were Smooth and rolling out. Over all Eagles always seems to be very playable, staff is great, thanks again Eagles!!

Tee boxes are in poor shape. Like standing in a bunker. More sand than grass. Greens have a lot of damage. Would expect a lot better for a course that charges $35.00 and up for a round. This course has the potential to be great, but it's going to need a lot of work to get there.

The course is in great shape from tee box to greens. You have to navigate around large trees that are conveniently located in the middle of the fairway on 2, maybe 3 holes. I’d play this course again now that I’ve learned more about the layout.

Have always liked this course. Nice layout. Challenging but fair. Fairways and greens were in very nice condition. However, many of the tees looked totally torn apart, with lots of missing grass and large areas of nothing but sand. Tees looked like they belonged on a totally different course from the fairways and greens. Again, I like this course and will return, and hopefully I’ll see tee condition improvement.

I played the Forest course yesterday with a friend . We were very disappointed. Too much hype. this is our assessment after travelling 75 miles ,one way.

The course is out in the boonies.

Maintenance -Very poor. Tee boxes were sandy.no grass.

Greens seemed painted( artificial) with lots of patches.

Fairways were average. Water in play on virtually all holes.

Directions to Forest course were absent.

Cart not washed or cleaned.

Pro shop was small with fewer items on sale

Playing the forest course, more water than forest but a nice layout.

Will be back again

Round booked on GN for 2:07 on forest course. Upon arrival it was obvious a golf tournament was scheduled. After a lunch checked in and ready to go practice. There were no carts available. Tt prior to mine on forest course could not start no carts. At 2:40 got a cart headed to first golfers waiting. Almost 3 now to start. Very slow play first 9. Some golfers left at turn, finished at sunset.

Tee box conditions were not good.

I take no pleasure writing this review. The decision to book tt when they could not provide carts, begs the question don't you care about your customers?

Great time! Course was in good shape, the four of us had a really good time, despite the very chilly weather. Course is laid out so well and we enjoy being out there. Only negative on our day was the hot dog food truck pulling away, as we were playing the 9th hole. I shot a 55 on the back and I swear it was because I missed out on a couple of dogs!!! HAHA! Wings in clubhouse, couple of pitchers and playoff football capped off the day!!! Will be back soon.

Most tea boxes were in very rough shape and the greens were scuffed up, mostly by players dragging their feet. It also seemed like they packed as many players as they possibly could, so the round was 4 1/2 hours plus

I went there on MLK day so yes it was packed teed off at 3:15. Scheduled at 2:45 but they were behind. The pace of play was very slow but the staff was working hard. Some of the greens are in good to great shape but then most of them are just barely puttable. The course for the price is not bad but tee boxes, the tips for sure, need a lot of work. Hard to find a decent place to tee off from on more than half of them. But overall I will come back because it is not a bad track and makes you hit shots.

I thought the tee boxes were recently sodden. What happened? The rest of the course wasn't mediocre. Brought a friend from out of town and told him I really liked the course. Embarrassing. Could have gone to many others in better shape.

Wow!!! Been playing this course dating all the way back to the 70’s and never thought I would see this course in such crummy condition. For starters the driving range is all but that and probably best used to work on your sand game. Many of the Men’s Blue and White Tee boxes were sand as well. No ranger on the course meaning pace of play was an afterthought. Greens were the only bright spot but had a handful that were rough. And fixing ball marks on the green must now be a thing of the past or there are too many golfers who think they are too good to fix their own and maybe one other. Considering I teed off at 12:30 and only payed $40 it still wasn’t worth it. I don’t see myself g back any time soon.

Great layout the water makes you think. Fun to play.
