PGA WEST Greg Norman Course

Haven’t played this course since the redesign… course was playing nice, some rough areas, but for the most part it was a great experience. The greens were rolling nicely

Great condition for middle summer. Facilities wonderful.

Tree shade on all tee boxes, 1-18. I was already fan on Greg Norman, now even more. Thanks, was enjoyable round of golf. Compared other two PGA west we played same week coarse conditions were much better.

Highly enjoyable course, one of my favourites at PGA West. Considering the extremely hot weather in late June the course was in very good shape and the greens were superb. Some tough bunkers especially on the back nine. Some nice variety throughout the course. Definitely worth playing and good value.

The “new” Norman course was in great shape. Tee boxes perfect and fairways even greener. Greens were a little hard was which the one downer because the ball bounce off and didn’t hold. With the new remodel done last year there are less bunkers but the course is still a challenge. Highly recommend this course for a fun challenging round.

Played the course on a hot June afternoon as a single. Starter named Alan gave me the low down on all the changes to the course since last time I played Norman course (very helpful). Followed a single who went out 10 minutes before me. I ran into a slowdown on the 5th hole where there was four foursomes of friends playing. Alan anticipated this slowdown and waiting on the 5th hole and escorted the single ahead of me and then me to the 9th hole where there was no one in front of us. Check on my status numerous times and supplied ice cold water bottles thorough the round. Was waiting for me at the 18th green when i arrived, and escorted me back the 5th hole. Was able to play 5 - 9 in no time at all. My entire round took about 3hrs and Alan saved me at least 1.5 hours of waiting on the course. Easily, one of the best players assistants I have ever had on any course. PGA West should give him a raise!!!

Course was in great shape and extremely changeling and enjoyable!

An "un-named" Golf Magazine that preaches how to play fast golf was hosting a tournament which played at a 5:17 pace. Otherwise an excellent place to play

The Norman course is always tough. They rebuilt greens, and it's made the course more scoreable. Prior, the difficulty of the layout, along with nearly impossible greens, was not fun. The course was in good condition. When the greens mature, it may be a better track. Time will tell. Staff was fine.

Worst greens never hold the ball , Finish 3 Minutes early still Marshals came to tell us keep up with group ahead of us. we have to mentioned group ahead of us are 2 sum ! Do you want us to run and finish or 2 of our guys won’t play to keep up to stay behind the group ahead of us, unfortunately we still waiting on few holes for tee off behind that group.

Course is in terrific shape, staff outstanding. Many tough holes and plenty of sand. Just wasn't expecting 100 degrees in April!
