SilverRock Resort

Playing as a foursome with my wife and another couple. Marshall tells us we need to pick it up after two holes. The group behind us is hitting their second shot on a par five while we ahead to hole number 3. This is a par three that he then proceeds to watch all four of us hit and then follow us to the green. Proceeds to tell me we should play in three and a half hours on a weeken with a tee time of 9:24. I told him an avers round of golf is four to five hours and he said no. We were not hold up the course. Felt harassed and will never go back.

There are too many good courses and facilities to waste your money on Silver Rock La Quinta. All the construction that was intended to create a resort around the Course have been abandoned in a half-built condition. There is no clubhouse other than a portable trailer. This should have all been disclosed on the Tee Off site. What a waste of money.

Beautiful course but EXTREMELY windy. However, not pleasant to be driving through all the bankrupt structures. Too much money for that.

Would be nice if decision on development could be sooner than later.

Nice course that is being ruined by the ongoing construction or rather lack thereof. The back nine has been adversely affected by this as the homes have been left unfinished with fencing around them for a few years now. Weird that the clubhouse turn is at the 8th hole.. a couple holes felt like they were fit in for the construction. Too bad!
