SilverRock Resort

Was harassed by the Marshal nearly the entire round to speed up. I was paired with a random group and we finished in 3 hours and 40 minutes. I’m a 6 handicap and prefer to play fast. No one was playing slow and the guy kept telling us to pick it up every few holes. I spoke to a manager and said he’d call me back after inquiring with his staff. He did not. I called again and left a message for him and he still never called me back. I took a hint and decided I wouldn’t go back. After unsubscribing to emails that I never signed up for, I continue to get emails so they forced this negative review on themselves. The course is nice but what an awful experience.

We were in town from Michigan and couldn't pass up the opportunity for a little desert golfing! We had a great time.. we were warned ahead of time about the condition of the greens being end of season and recent maintenence and all.. did.not.care. Still a fantastic day to be out hitting some balls! Everyone was helpful, nice and went above and beyond. 10/10 would visit again.

The are in the worst condition. Almost unplayable.

Of course is this like the one I see it in GolfNow the pictures of the course was unbelievable when I saw him firsthand I was very impressed. I can’t wait to come down there and play it again. Staff is real friendly and explained everything what we can do what we can’t do, it was awesome

First time playing at silver rock. Fun course, wide fairways. However greens were a little bad. Great value for $65.00. I would definitely play silver rock again.

What a gem! Found this course looking for something different to play in La Quinta and I'm glad I went! Absolutely beautiful course, very well maintained, and the staff are top notch! I really felt like I was at a resort course and not a public course. They are building up the surrounding areas around the course so you do see a lot of that BUT who cares the course was beautiful, greens were FAST, and the cost didn't break the bank! AND if you know a local (which I don't, but played with one) they get in at $40 bucks!!! Thats insane for this course!

Go try it, you won't regret it!

Course was nice. A lot of building going on. It’s gonna be just another course with houses all around. Instead of a great view. They use “Dynamic pricing”. Which is a nice way of saying if we have enough people we are just going to charge as much as we can get. I’d play it now before all the buildings go up…

We love this course and play it every time we are in La Quinta.

I always play Silverock when visiting Palm Desert area. Love the favorable twilight rates. I do miss the Big Horn sheep that used to be on or near the course. Wish they would return. Love the par 3 16th hole. Not a fan of the finishing hole.. Would recommend to anyone.

We were rained out and when at the course we were told we would get the money back. We did not from Golf now. When i fought it with the credit card company that didn’t work either. I’m not sure if this was the fault of golf now or the course but either way I’m not playing here until that gets figured out.

I’ve been playing this course since it opened. It amazes me that they can’t hire a starter or a course Marshall with people skills. C’mon Silverrock, you’re in the customer service industry!

For $120 prepaid using this app, for two golfers. I’d much rather some of the cheaper courses on here.

This golf course is embedded on a stagnant construction site. It feels like it has been in default, which it looks like was the case back in 2021.

The temp clubhouse has been “permanent” for four years.

Took the 3pm tee time, and there was no starter and no Marshall. Why does this matter? The pace of play was beyond awful. We waited and waited. And so we gave up on hole 12. Such a waste of a round.
