About
SilverRock Resort is the city of La Quinta's first municipal golf course. This Arnold Palmer Classic Course is the home course of the Bob Hope Classic. At 7,239 yards, it is the longest course in Palm Springs and one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. SilverRock sits right at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains, which provide a stunning backdrop for every hole. It is closer to the mountains than any other public golf course in the area. The rugged landscape provides rocky outcroppings and massive native bunkers to contend with throughout the course. Beautiful water features also come into play on several holes. The SilverRock layout is challenging but the widths of the fairways are fair and playable and the holes are diverse enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels.

Fun course -great people
This is a fun course that is in decent shape but the views are awesome and the staff exceptional. A little pricey but we were on vacation so no worries!

Silver rock would make Arnold Palmer shudder.
Poor condition of the bunkers and especially the greens and extensive changes in the back nine to yield space for development has ruined this once beautiful course.

Under Construction.
SilverRock could be an amazing golf resort but it’s hard to get past all the construction. The club house is in a temporary trailer and the practice facilities are limited.
The course is laid out well and interesting to play but with all the options I wouldn’t pay the price to play it again.

Beautiful Desert course! Pristine condition
We l loved this course! There is construction all around because the resort properties are being built. We played on the weekend and so it didn’t matter to us. If you are concentrating on the course only, you won’t be disappointed. The fairways are absolutely beautiful, perfect condition. It’s like hitting off of carpet. They were the best! Challenging holes with tons of bunkers leading up to the greens. The greens were slower than we anticipated but still in good shape. We will be back for sure as this entire golf/resort community progresses over the next year.

Great layout
This is one of the most aesthetically, beautiful courses I’ve played the mountains come right down to the fairways. This is a difficult golf course, but very nice.

Had fun
Had a good time playing this course. Played with my brother and we played the first 6 holes in 40 minutes. Then we ran into 3 foursomes. Thankfully the marshal got us to pass them all. We finished in 3 hours. Great course in really good shape.

Housing project created mass on golf course
Housing project has massed up golf course quite a lot.
Poor cart pass, dirt and dust around. Tricky winding cart passes going around seems a golf course under construction. Few shorten holes and alternate holes and tee ground changed real setting of a nice golf course.
Maybe I should try it again 3-6 months later after the massed situation has improved later.
