About
SilverRock Resort is the city of La Quinta's first municipal golf course. This Arnold Palmer Classic Course is the home course of the Bob Hope Classic. At 7,239 yards, it is the longest course in Palm Springs and one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. SilverRock sits right at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains, which provide a stunning backdrop for every hole. It is closer to the mountains than any other public golf course in the area. The rugged landscape provides rocky outcroppings and massive native bunkers to contend with throughout the course. Beautiful water features also come into play on several holes. The SilverRock layout is challenging but the widths of the fairways are fair and playable and the holes are diverse enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels.

Beautiful course!
A beautiful course to play! They were under construction and did everything possible to make up for it- a makeshift proshop was acceptable. One green was totally awful but they told us about it in advance and it was due to construction. I have no doubt that when the project is done, it will be even more beautiful! Be ready to pay the price for it! I do say it's worth it!

Back nine confusing ,under construction and not fun to play. 16th green a disaster . Hopefully when construction is finished it will get back to where it used to be.

I played this course 1 time previously and conditions were much better. Conditions of the greens and bunkers were substandard.

Silver Rock
Silver Rock is a ver nice course, but they are doing construction. It was a windy day when I played; therefore, it was very dusty. That makes the course less desirable at this time.

5 1/2 hour round
Beautiful course, super friendly staff. We did have to wait for the groups in front of us . They slowed the play dramatically. Wish the Ambassador had more influence.
Really nice course, not too challenging but not too easy either. Great time.

Fairways were so amazing-did not even look real! Tough-no bail outs near the greens-but so challenging. Best course I played in most of life!!

Nice layout, large-scale bunkers, lots of construction
The course has good bones from a layout and strategic viewpoint. It has a nice variety of holes. It has water in play and some punitive pinched landing areas. Playing right at the base of the mountains is cool. The course conditions were not great and there is massive construction happening all around the course. It is not very walkable. It is a fun course and with better conditions and after all the construction is done, it could be 4 stars.

Too quirky for my taste. Blind shots . One green was just dirt. Very disappointed for a premium course.

the front 9
the front 9 is covered with construction from the construction of 2 hotels, a conference center and pro shop. the back 9 was nice.

Construction around course
Course was in good shape. One green was questionable. Lots construction. Not a great value for what we paid. Still charge full price with all work being done. But 4 hour round - excellent. Hard to find clubhouse for drink after but service was good when we found it. I would play it again for sure but only after the construction around the course is done.

Good as it gets
Played Friday 3/24.
Brought 3 of my friends on a golf trip, played PGA West Stadium, PGA Mountain, and Silverrock, everyone agreed Silverrock was the best of the 3. The front 9 is great, the back 9 is iconic playing back up against the mountains. Staff was extremely friendly.
ONLY knock is the 16th hole Par 3. Looks like the grass is diseased and they are trying to get it to come back.
