Course in immaculate shape!! But beautiful views and flow obstructed by major construction (Hotel, Restaurant, bungalows and housing) with fences and netting along most holes... This WILL be a top PS destination, in a couple years...

Pace of play was horrendously slow. Cramming too many groups per hour. We had 3 groups playing on each hole.

Never played booked and had to pay in advance. Booked day before by error. Lost $500 bucks. When left after golf shop said no openings bag drop guys said there was and 11:20 open The time I booked in error was 10:30. So since son in law BDay gift booked round at Marriot and left voicemail at Silver rock to advise them. Then sent text I missed as driving saying 11:20 open.

No more prepay thru GNow won’t use GNow unless no option but no prepay ever

Course was in great shape except for the 16th green. The changes made to the course for the development ruined the back nine.

The course was in very good condition. Everything was green—but not wet. Only hole 16 green was in the worst condition. There is a lot of construction going on around the course, but great views of the mountains.

This course was fun and the narrow fairways were both fun and frustrating.

The entire staff was friendly. I showed up with my 14 y/o son and they saved me $150 by only charging me the junior rate. At hole 4 the Ranger asked that we pick up the pace (5 min behind, but not holding anyone up). We did, and he thanked us in hole 7 for getting back on track.

The price was a bit high for me (almost $200 after tax), but I was treating myself. In truth, I have access to same condition courses for a bit cheaper in Phoenix area, where I’m from.

This rating is very negative due to Golf Now’s non refund / reschedule policy. I made legitimate mistake booking course on Fri vs Sat. Booking required full pay in advance and since booking thru golf now at Marriot doesn’t have to assume it’s SilverRock policy. Was told in golf shop no openings booked solid all day and no refund per Golf Now policy. When left guys at golf drop said they showed 11:20 opening.

Went to car booked Marriot IImmediately for hour later and departed. Called Silver Rock golf shop before left to advise booked Marriot and take us off cancellation waitlist. Got loade up and after arrived starter at Marriot noticed text from Silver Rock 11:20 was open. Played Marriot No Thxs on Silver Rock. Both have doubled green fees since last year as green fees tied directly to price of Oil.

Course not in great shape … 16th green completely dead… green fees excessive for course with all construction and conditions of course .

Will not come back

was playing every year with friend the course was in better sharpe before most place around the trap neeed some water was very dry around them

Be warned that there is construction everywhere around this course, with fences up that significantly impacts the look and feel of this course. I would not have spent so much on a round had I known this in advance.

The twosome we played with were really slow and we are fast players. Five minutes over a hit is really SLOW. We were asked to pick up our pace and they did NOT even try.

Then after 9 holes the Marshall said he would split us up to speed up play. We were surprised that he told them to go first! However, they did move along after that and we had a fantastic, fun, good back nine. Both shot 42 on that nine.

We will be back, sometime. Maybe 2023.

Booked online for $179- Priced directly from the course would have been $4 cheaper, but whatever. The Pro Shop is a modular office and is a LONG way from driving range & first tee. When returning from the 18th, parking is not close to restaurant so you need to drive there and then there's no parking at the facility. Greens are very hard (in March 90° weather) fairways were fine, rough was easy and can ground clubs in desert areas and hit out of trouble without too much damage. Second time playing here and construction mess would keep us away until it gets done. Looks like it will be something very special.

Silverrock is an alright course. Unfortunately they lost the green on 16. The course has been better in the past. Niot worth the money they charge now. They can get because the valley is crowded with golfers.

The changes made to the course were not an improvement!

I think the addition of hotels and houses around the course will negatively impact the enjoyable feel of nature that the course currently enjoys. But, obviously, that’s too late now to worry about.
