About
SilverRock Resort is the city of La Quinta's first municipal golf course. This Arnold Palmer Classic Course is the home course of the Bob Hope Classic. At 7,239 yards, it is the longest course in Palm Springs and one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. SilverRock sits right at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains, which provide a stunning backdrop for every hole. It is closer to the mountains than any other public golf course in the area. The rugged landscape provides rocky outcroppings and massive native bunkers to contend with throughout the course. Beautiful water features also come into play on several holes. The SilverRock layout is challenging but the widths of the fairways are fair and playable and the holes are diverse enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels.

Great course….but…
This is a terrific course with some amazing scenery. But…they are building EVERYWHERE around the course and the course is surrounded by temporary fences, construction vehicles, etc. They also have a temporary club house. So…if you can put aside some of the aesthetic blemishes, the. course and mountain views are worth it.

Great layout and architecture
Even though we had the Turkeyday savings, $200 was too much given the condition of greens since they haven’t grown in completely.

Dusty and noisy from construction
Looks like there building a city around the course. Beautiful course it was windy when I played and we got so much dust from the constructions around the course.

Construction Zone
If you can ignore the construction, the course is well worth playing. The finishing holes are disappointing compared to what they were before construction started, so hopefully this is temporary.

Great Course
We really enjoyed our game at Silver Rock! Friendly staff and good pace of play. Scenery is spectacular!! 2nd time. here and enjoyed both visits.

A bit pricey for slow play
Course was in good shape except for the bunkers.
The pace of play was slower than it should be as our foursome waited on most every tee behind a threesome.
The Marshall never asked them to keep up with the group ahead.
A bit too pricey to play in 4 hours 20 minutes or so.

Slow play
I am very disappointed. I paid full price to tee off at 130pm and only made it through 12 holes before it becAme too dark. No Marshall on the course and the lay was very slow. I will not come back
Thank you for playing SilverRock! We appreciate your feedback and we’re sorry to hear of your disappointment. We reduce green fees this time of the year at 12:30 pm (twilight) because of limited daylight. Twilight as indicated upon booking doesn’t guarantee a full 18 holes due to the early sunset this time of the year. Our normal green fees were $145 and twilight rates are $95. We have multiple marshals working the golf course daily but yesterday was the last day golf carts were restricted to cart paths, so pace may have been slower than normal. On a typical day, we do our best to get all groups around the golf course in 4 hours and 20 minutes or less.
