About
SilverRock Resort is the city of La Quinta's first municipal golf course. This Arnold Palmer Classic Course is the home course of the Bob Hope Classic. At 7,239 yards, it is the longest course in Palm Springs and one of the longest courses on the PGA Tour. SilverRock sits right at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains, which provide a stunning backdrop for every hole. It is closer to the mountains than any other public golf course in the area. The rugged landscape provides rocky outcroppings and massive native bunkers to contend with throughout the course. Beautiful water features also come into play on several holes. The SilverRock layout is challenging but the widths of the fairways are fair and playable and the holes are diverse enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels.

Poor customer service
Because it was first day that they were open it was cart paths only. Had trouble getting the gps working on one of the carts. On the third hole we called the clubhouse and told them that we are having a problem. They sent out someone but they couldn’t get it fixed. Cart girl came by and said someone else was also having trouble. She took a look at it and couldn’t fix it so we were told to stop at the clubhouse after the front.
Got a new cart after 8th hole and it worked fine. After the round we went into the clubhouse looking for some sort of compensation but the lady in the clubhouse was dismissive and didn’t care about our dilemma. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Also if its cart paths only we should have been told before we booked the round. Probably walked 7 miles!

40th Celebration
Played a round here with my best friend for his 40th and the course did not disappoint. The front 9 was beautiful but the back nine was spectacular. We made some new friends on the course and shared some great laughs. We are definitely coming back!

A little confusing with all the construction but the staff very friendly and accommodating. The course in good shape and it is well worth the money. Hope to ply it again soon.

Fix the 18th hole before you develop the whole property. Everything was five star till I got to the 18th. We all know that hole was not the original 18th or so but fix it immediately.

Love playing this golf course. It’s a great track beautiful views staff is friendly great amenities. The only thing that was disappointing was the 18th hole. After playing all those beautiful holes and to end it with a little drivable 18 with a pitch and putt green was kind of disappointing could easily be changed I think before all construction begins on that property. That should be firstAnd most important thing on the list for the golf course before they developed all that property.

18 th hole????
Need to handle that 18th hole before you begin construction on any homes. The whole course every hole is great but to end on the 18th hole like after playing that whole course is really a big bummer

Love It
I played this course once before and it was windy so I was excited to try it in more moderate conditions. So many courses down in this area and I've played quite a few, this is one of the best for the money. I think once the hotel gets built it's going to be crowded so play it now!
