Juliette Falls
About
When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

Beauty is only skin deep.
Haven't played the course in at least a year. The course is very challenging with a slope rating from the back tees of 147. That means a scratch golfer should shoot 3 over on this course. It is a gorgeous course with challenging holes lots of sloped bunkers and tough pins with tricky greens . They had a special today for 54 bucks and I figured since aeration was done in early August for once the greens would be in great shape .I was wrong- there were still aeration cuts and minimal grass on the greens. Its hard to fathom with all the rain we have had. The Fairways as well have been aerated and the grass was not cut much ,grabbing the ball and stopping much roll.
In the summer the course isn't really playable because of the deep aerations cut into the greens at regular intervals. This is a recurring theme at this golf course. and it will not get better until they get a greenskeeper that is capable of maintaining the greens properly which may have to entail an entire redo.
The staff as always is great there. But if you are looking for greens that roll true you will be disappointed.
Well Maintained, lovely scenery, and (MOSTLY) great staff
Myself and a group of three of my best friends decided to take a trip up to Ocala as that is the halfway point between where all of us live and we had been wanting to try this course for a long time. We all got there early, had time to hit a few range balls (non-inclusive which is a shame) on the range which was pretty well-kept along with the putting and chipping greens. The staff inside was very friendly and got us everything we needed in a very timely manner as well and the gentlemen at the bag-drop area. When we get to tee off, we are immediately greeted by a very distraught gentleman who happened to be the course marshall. He did not seem to be in good spirits nor did he seem to be happy to see us or make us feel very welcome. We checked in with him and then he continued to stare us down the entirety of the time we were teeing off, then proceeded to tell us to keep up with the group in front which was a twosome and we were a foursome.
The course was in lovely shape and it was a gorgeous day to play golf. We had a great front 9 and then we got ourselves a drink from the cart girl who was also very nice and very prompt at getting us drinks and snacks. By the time we get to the midpoint, we decided to walk in and grab lunch real quick before heading off to the back 9. The ladies inside were very nice and took our orders in a prompt manner. As we finished submitting our orders, the marshall then walks in on us finishing up making payments, and very sternly tells us "You guys need to go", and practically kicks us out of the restaurant in front of the other people that were in the bar, thoroughly embarrassing all of us. We hadn't a clue what we had done wrong, but this guy was clearly very upset with us for reasons unknown to us. We did not know that we had to order our food within the cart and SOLELY in the cart. As we step back outside, the marshall tells us we have to hurry up and tee off and tells us that we cannot go inside nor can we order in there, and once agains stares at us the entire time we are teeing off from #10, making us feel rushed once again when the course was seemingly not very busy, nor was it nearly as busy as this guy was making it out to be. The lady from inside the restaurant met us on #11 and delivered our food afterwards, which was very good. No complaints on the food,
We then got rained on for about 30 minutes, then it stopped and we continued our play. The course soaked up the moisture very well and was perfectly playable right after. Greens were in great shape, fairways well-manicured. We all were very pleased with the course in general.
I understand that it was the gentleman's job to ensure pace-of-play, and make sure we all follow the rules while out there, but people who pay to play there should be treated as paying customers, not cattle. Perhaps it was not this guy's day, but he certainly impacted our seemingly perfect day by his demeanor towards us that day.
Tough day in the, but that was choice.
Brutal heat, but the course was in good shape, in spite of all the weather related issues. The staff is the best!
Excellent course and great staff and amenities
Even in 97 degree weather, we truly enjoyed our first golfing experience at Juliette Falls.
Course layout is fantastic, as is the course condition.
Staff is first rate, as are the amenities.
We will definitely be back to play more!
Great Track!
Greens were recently ’punched’, otherwise our outing would have been perfect.
Course was in great condition (outside of the greens). It’s a very challenging track. Another week or so, this track will be the best value available!
Great course
Always a pleasure to play Juliet falls. Especially for $43.00 special..
Out of my price range normally, so this was a treat. Best course I have ever played in Florida..
A must play course. But don't forget ur wallet😜
Super course. Well worth the drive
Wonderful layout. Beautiful conditions. All was in great shape. Only negatives were bunkers were a bit thin and the greens, although rolling real true were very slow for a course of this stature. Maybe that’s what they do for the summer. Not sure. Otherwise I’d leave a 5 Star rating. Beautiful landscaping and waterfalls.
Only wish I lived closer and that they cut the greens. Give me a couple more feet and I’m a happy guy. I’ll be back for sure. Amenities were really good. Practice area. Cart girl. Inside bar and restaurant are all very good.
Great Golf
Professional courtesy wonderful staff excellent course

Beautiful
This course is a pleasure to play. Greens and fairways perfect condition. Layout is fun with just enough risk reward opportunities. We will definitely be back

Play this golf course with people who are members, if not for the discount, from member, wouldn't play course to expensive. Had a nice day until 11 hole when was told we were 3 minutes behind pace of play. They let a 2 some out behind us and another one behind them.
The 2 some behind us complained about pace of play, they must live on course. These people don't know golf, what do you expect when you go out as a 2 some, you are going to catch a 4 some. The moral to story is the 2 somes should of been matched up and there would of been no problem, if you don't want to be paired up with another 2 some don't complain. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me or people i know that have golfed there, they won't come back.
Wonderful experience
Played JF for the 1st time. It was well worth the just over 2 hour drive from Lakeland. Layout was fantastic, greens rolled fast and true. My playing partners were members who play 3 times a week and were very helpful in stating where to avoid on the course. Overall very happy with my experience and will be going back again.
Great Ocala area choice
Checks all the boxes. Well maintained, fast play, great layout, your choice of length.
Juliette Falls
Played this course for the first time yesterday, weather was perfect for a 9:03 tee time. The course is very well kept and nicely landscaped, the rest of the experience was a mixed bag. The pros: Beautiful course, very challenging for my group (all 18 to 20 handicappers), immaculate facilities, excellent food at the 19th hole. The cons: Pace of play was ATROCIOUS, we came up just short of a 5 hour round, waiting to hit on virtually every shot. When mentioned to the Ranger on 3 different occasions he just looked at his watch and said we were "doing fine on time". The carts were actually comically in disrepair. They were 15 to 20 years old and were literally falling apart. The bag strap on the drivers side was broken and half missing, my bag fell off twice during the round. On one occasion we had to back down a slight incline and get a running start to try it again. Tires were almost completely bald. For an otherwise lovely facility, this was not a good look. Bottom line: for an $80 price tag for 18 holes, I will not return.
Always a good day when you've played JF -- challenging and in excellent condition as always.
Awesome Course
The course is always in great condition. The staff is always amazing. Their food is great. We played 36 holes. We’ll definitely be back.
Best Golf In Central Florida
Just a few miles away from our home course at Stone Creek is one of the best kept courses in Central Florida. On this outing, our foresome found the overall experience superior, from our arrival greeting and throughout the day, the staff did their best to make the experience enjoyable. The course was in perfect condition and as always provided a balance between challenge and reward. Definitely on our list of courses to play again.
Great condition
The course is in great condition. The fairways were nice, the rough was thick which is the way it should be, greens were rolling great, overall a great round of golf, highly recommend
If Only---
It's a pretty course with a nice layout , It has challenging approach shots and some tricky greens . If you play this course from October through April the greens are passable but expect a very slow pace of play as the course gets overcrowded.Jacking up prices by 100 percent may help that this year but this course isn't worth playing for 90 bucks a round.
In the summer however the aerations are the most extreme of any greens in the area and it totally ruins any legitimate golf play.
I am a member at Golden Ocala and the greens are so much better there than here. Its too bad because its a real nice course otherwise.IMO they need to totally redo the greens as they have never been up to par with the rest of the golf course.
With aerated ,uncut fairways lots of sand and deep aeration of the greens and temps in the 90's yesterday wasn't worth the rate discount given. At least I had an excellent corn beef sandwich in the clubhouse.
