Juliette Falls
About
When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

what happened?
Played this course over the last 4 years. Brought a friend from out of town to play Juliette Falls thinking it would be one of the better courses we would play this Spring over 5 straight days of golf we had planned. The course was by far in the worst shape I've ever seen. In speaking with other players that day--they had all played the course previously and all felt the same way. We all wondered "what happened". On top of that the course was all backed up--took us 5 1/2 hours to play 16 holes, and 2 of those were in the dark. The staff used to be very friendly and went out of their way to create a great experience, now it feels like they are just trying to get through their shift.
Challenging but Fair
Good course and playable if done from the appropriate tees. Pin placement the day we played was a real challenge, each placement was protected by the many bunkers on the course. The only issue was the pace of play. Our round took over five hours and may have been avoided if a ranger was present. The foursome behind us gave up after 15 holes. However, it is a beautiful course and worth playing
A good layout but.....
I have played this course many times and I like the layout. I was, however, disappointed in the condition of the course this year. The greens, in particular, were rough and very slow.
Canadian Pete
Greens were not very good condition. Last winter much better. Pace of play on back nine very slow - 3 hours.
Slow play
Started 40 minutes late due to lack of carts, then extremely slow play produced a 5 hour round. Had to wait on every shot.
Green dye on fairways was fading to dull, dead, dormant Bermuda. Many green dirt spots on greens which were not overseeded and dormant Bermuda has worn out.
Beautiful and Challenging
Great course, in my opinion the best in this
Area, equal to or maybe better than World
Woods Courses. I have heard that this course can get very busy. The day we played it Was very cold and very few on the course so pace of play was not an issue
Every hole is unique and offers a different
Challenge I normally like to play around
6000 yrds but we played the 5700 yrd Tees
And with the wind and the cold temps that was all I wanted. Would probably play from
The same tees on this course on warm calm day. Great fairways and Tee boxes and the greens were fantastic. A must play!!!!!
a nice upbeat course
we have played the course before and enjoyed it. This was no exception. we will play the course again.
Some what disappointed
Heard so much about this course completely disappointed with the conditions, no pin position set up very unusual not to have a pin placement either on a card or by colored flags very poor. The greens had been colored green to hide and make them look better.
Coarse Needs Lots of Work
Played yesterday, started at 1pm finished in the dark at 6:30... NO ranger. Greens are paint and sand should be nice but not now, avoid until they do some work...
not a course to play in the dormant season
first this course probably is in better conditions in the spring.greens were not up to the conditions one would expect for a course of this price and reputation.tough to figure what was green and what was fringe.no score card on cart and only lucky ranger had one, every flag was blue no pin placement numbers so you had to guess what part of green hole was located.front nine a little cramped close hole by hole ,back nine more of a winding layout.will probably go back but not in the winter season, seems they are trying to pass this off as an exclusive country club on a municipal course budget
Juliette Falls still tops
Greens a little slower than usual, but true as always. Fairways and tees immaculate.
Amazing how well the course weathers the high volume of play.
Very fair and enjoyable test of golf.
Clubhouse, staff and practice facility all outstanding.
Highly recommended.
Great Course
Great course as usual. We have to play this course at least 3 times while here for the 3 winter months
worth the money
Really enjoyed the course. Good conditions and layout. Only real negative was pace of play: 4:45 was too long as we were waiting on almost every shot.
money
This is a very nice course. Most people just don't want to spend this much money. You can play twice somewhere else for what it costs to play here once.
Lots of bunkers
Loved this course, lots of sand. Great layout, fun to play. Will definitely be back.
Superb fairways, so so greens.
Beautiful fairways with generous landing areas. Spectacular waterfall features on several holes. Greens are generally well-bunkered, elevated and small. This is a pretty golf course. Unfortunately some of the greens were in tough shape.
A Must Play...Beautiful
One of the Best courses you can play in Florida...
No Falling Expectations
This course is a little off the beaten path but worth a drive if you are in the area. It was our first time playing the course and it was a treat. It was a little cold when we started which made it harder to enjoy but the course is fairly laid out with enough trouble for various levels of golfers. Friendly staff and good food in the grill. We will try to ad to to our list of courses we play on our annual trip.
Very nice place to play.
This course was in very good condition and very challenging. Play it if you have the chance. You will not regret it. Plenty of tees to suit your ability. Staff was very friendly.
