Juliette Falls
About
When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

Pristine Golf Course
As a serious amateur golfer, this course is so much fun and a great place to practice for competitions as well as a place to be prepared for playing nice courses. The greens are perfect, and the entire course is very well kept. A really cool and interesting layout on almost all the holes. Be sure to the play the 7,236 yard Viking tees, and you'll definitely get your money's worth.
Pricey but a must play
Very scenic with waterfalls and elevation changes. It was a very enjoyable round of golf. We were paired up with very nice couple which allowed us to keep a good tempo during the round. To score on this course it is important to be in the right position on your approaching the green..
Lovely course
We were paired with members who were helpful and kind. When in this area of the state I always try to play here. Call for specials. One hour from the Villages.
My favorite North Florida course!
What a pleasure to play on a superbly maintained, beautiful course. I particularly appreciated the overall design--interesting, varied features like the lengthy waste bunkers and enough water and elevation change to be interesting, but not too punishing. The several waterfalls are a nice touch, too. And not having the course winding through the subdivision is a big plus for me; it felt very open and isolated.
Bogey golfers beware: the greens were much more challenging than I or my playing partner were used to. We should have spent more time practicing on the putting green.
Speaking of which, the practice facilities were excellent. And adjacent to the first tee--very convenient.
We really enjoyed the post-golf lunch as well. A good variety of menu choices, not just the regular bar fare.
The Falls
Very interesting course. Enjoyed playing it until the rain came.
Juliette Falls
Good experience at the course. Conditions were nice and greens were well kept. Staff at the clubhouse bar was friendly and receptive. I'll definitely play here again.
One of our favorites
We stayed at Inverness for the second time and returned to Juliette Falls, since we liked it to much. The course was as nice as we expected! It is not the typical easy layout with lush fairways you het on some resort lay-outs: Every hole at JF is different, not extremely difficult, but all with their own challenge. Fairways maybe a bit on the hard side, green undulating and fast enough.
Since it was busy, the pace was a bit slow and that is a pity: on the back nine you tend to start to lose concentration and those are the best holes of the course. Together with World Woods this course make my top3 when I/m in Inverness. It is worth the drive.
Excellent Staff, Beautiful Course
Went to play on a Saturday morning with no tee time and Vince Puglia was able to get me on the course immediately. He was very accommodating with me being an out of towner visiting. On hole number 6 my back went out, so I had to go back to the pro shop to call it a day. I told Vince what happened and he offered to give me a raincheck for the round, but I informed him that I was visiting my parents for Thanksgiving and that I was leaving the next day. Vince instead gave me a FULL refund. Needless to say, I was very satisfied with the course and its condition, the staff, and the accommodating from Mr. Puglia. I will return here next year when I am in town for sure!
Lots of sand
Well maintained.
Many greens well protected by bunkers
Large waste areas
Day we played, greens were very fast
I'm a 20 handicapper, and find the course very challenging.
Romeo closed at Juliette Falls
We've made the slog from Tampa numerous times to play this course and have yet to be disappointed. With a Burger and beer at the turn it's a great value. Juliette Falls is a lot of course to maintain yet they manage to do a fine job of it. The only negative, and it's a small one, was the lack of pin placement guidance. All of the flags were blue and we could discern no pattern to their placement. All in all, this is a good, fun, must play layout
Must Play
It doesn't appear they are overseeding the greens. They were fast and rolled true. Overall excellent course conditions.
A "must play". Wonderful course
The conditions are great and the course layout has a lot of character. This one could quickly become a favorite for anyone who gives it a shot. I've played it 3 times now, and I've really enjoyed each visit.
Very much worth the road trip
If you live in Tampa or Orlando, Juliette Falls is not exactly around the corner. Don't think twice if you appreciate a great golf course and plan the visit. I was NOT going to miss out on the final long day of sunshine before Daylight Savings Time ended and a blast of cold temperatures actually gave me a fast pace of play as a bonus. This is also the rare non-Bermuda grass experience for a Florida golf course, as it apparently a hybrid specially made for them and it is the finest stuff I've hit fairway shots on since my last experience on Kentucky bluegrass in Colorado. Also, absolutely loved the shaved down edges on much of the greens. Sure, I putted one ball right off the green, but I adjusted and so will you. Course favors a draw off the tee, but fade hitters are not at a significant disadvantage. You will also find the clubhouse very intimate and inviting. Their bar area does not look like anything usually found at a golf property with great TVs and cool blue neon lighting. Tell Vince and the guys in the Pro Shop you made the drive from out of town and they will go out of their way to make sure you feel appreciated. That's what they did for me.
play to slow, 5 hour round on Sunday morning.
Great course, but pace of play entirely to slow. Waited 5 to 10-minutes on every tee box.
Beautiful and tough course.
We picked this course on our golf trip to Worldwoods as a filler. Herd good things about this course but also heard it was neglected for couple of years when realestate went bust. So, we had no expectations but we were amazed at the course conditions and the course itself. The course is in excellent shape and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very pretty course and can be difficult based on the tees you select. The greens were at moderate speed but if they are maintained at or above 10 the course can be very very challenging and difficult to play.
Even at moderate speeds it was challenging when ever we were putting from the high side of the green. Right now golf here is affordable but I have a feeling that once they start filling out with houses, this will go back to private course.
to slow
needs a ranger to help pace of play. Over 5 hours to play 18 holes.
Excelent golf course
Very beautiful design with qualilty fairway, bunkers and great greens.
Lay out is very nice
A must play
This course is a gem. Any golfer in central Florida must make an effort to play this one as it is well worth the trip. From the course layout, condition, added features such as greenside waterfalls and waste areas along the fairways. It all makes for a very enjoyable day!
Nice course. Great afternoon.
Beautiful course in great condition. Friendly helpful staff. Nice rolling greens. Don't get the artificial waterfalls on the course. Distracts from the otherwise beautiful natural surroundings. Looks out of place.
