Juliette Falls

Course is in excellent playing condition with good grass on fairways and greens in excellent condition. Tee boxes are flat with good grass. A very aesthetically pleasing course with waterfall features on two holes. Very well maintained. It could provide a few more ball washers but this is something that more and more (even good) courses seem to be lacking these days. Overall a great value for the money, whatever the deal you get on GolfNow.

Great course! Picturesque. A golf architechts success story. I plan to play Juliette Falls many times while I'm here in Florida.

challenging holes..fast, undulating greens..fairways cut short and no grass to speak of to hit off.. fairways were hard with lots of roll and bounce off fairway...

This course was a joy to play. Very pretty scenery throughout. Relatively easy to play provided you choose the proper tees. I played this course with my dad and he chose to play the white tees and I played from the championship tees. Pretty easy course to play aside from some difficult par three's. Greens were in pretty good shape. Kinda hard and a little on the dry side which made for some interesting bounces and made it a little difficult to control the ball on short pitch shots around the green. Overall I loved the course and will definately be going back. I will say that the carts need some work or they need to be turned in as battery issues took some time away from our round. We had to exchange carts twice during our round with the replacements not being much better than our original. Other than that it was a great time. Great practice facility as well. I wish I lived closer and could take advantage of it.

Not a course for handicaps over 20. Requires good sand player. A must to play from correct tees. Beautiful landscape.

This is a very different course. Extremely unusual course with extremely large, small shell, waste areas. Most of them you can drive your your cart into, play your ball, and then drive right out. Greens are in excellent shape but very difficult to play as they are fast, and very hard to read - multiple breaks. I would highly recommend this course.

This course is challenging but not so much that the average golfer would spend a great amount of time looking for golf balls. It is open enough for the average player to enjoy the game. Play was at an excellent pace. It is a very scenic course. There is water and sand which make it challenging but very fair. If you are in the area, it is a must play course. You will really like it. I played last fall and it was my first choice for a course to play in January. I will play it again.

The greens were in good shape. They held long iron approach shots well and rolled decently. They had good speed but weren't super fast. Over 7k from the tips but very playable. Not many forced carries. Wide landing areas that allowed you to work the ball off the tee to set up an interesting variety of approach shots.

Played straight through without waiting on any hole. while course was over seeded. it was in great condition. A great time for my entire threesome.

Novice player would find it very challenging. Hence, a bitter sweet experience. Would recommend going during the week at this skill level. So you will not feel as rushed with the players behind you. Enjoy the challenge and your surroundings.

We have played this course several times and have always enjoyed it. The staff is terrific and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experiance. The course condition was great. We will be back.

Great course for $40, especially considering our green fee included lunch and a beer. Greens were in great shape, although the fairways were a bit off. There is plenty of sand around to eat golf balls and the greens are large and tricky, but this course is a blast to play when you're playing well. You can make some birdies, but double bogeys lurk everywhere. I've played every course in Marion County, and this one is in my top three. The starter/ranger could've been a little nicer.

The course is beautiful and well maintained. A joy to play. Let's just get that out of the way. We got hung up in traffic on the drive up (2 hour drive) and I called to let them know and was treated like they were doing me a favor by letting me out later. When we arrived, there was hardly anyone to be seen and no wait on the tee, so they weren't busy. They had an app to use for yardages and hole layout which I like. However, the app was poorly designed and required too much effort to use. We then paid a very non-energetic, "wish I were somewhere else" member of the shop staff, that seemed like we were interrupting her time talking with girls in the bar. Everything got better once we got on the course right? Wrong. We saw the beverage cart in the parking lot but apparently she was coming in and we never saw her once we got out there. We then proceeded to follow the rudest group I have ever followed on a golf course...ever! The entire course was open in front of them all day and they never let us play through. We waited on every shot. The website says it all. They have an ad for a ranger/starter on the main page. Let me tell you, they desperately need to fill that position. The course was great and I enjoyed the challenge. As a former PGA Professional, I would recommend a major overhaul of the staff or at least some proper training for them. No golfer would have ever had an experience like this at one of my clubs. The course will only get you so far, the golf staff and f&b staff are your last point of contact and they have to sell golfers on the idea of coming back. Especially when you are so far off the beaten path.

Only gave course condition medium grade because they are having smal issues with the greens like every other course in the area. They are otherwise in excellent shape, fast and true. Crew was picking up leaves off course which makes finding errant shots much easier. Definitely a must play course in the Ocala area.

Juliette Falls is a nice layout and player friendly. It is challenging enough for most golfers.The fairways are nice with overseed.
The greens are lush and run a bit slow for my taste. My wife loved the speed,or lack of.It might be on an alternate day mowing cycle, because I could feel noticeable tips on the greens.The pace will probably vary depending upon who one plays behind. A slow group of super seniors let us through on the 7th hole mercifully.Good value through Golf Now.

the survey doesn't allow me to move the slide bar to the spot where I wish to go, for example the pace of play bar, the course difficulty bar and the staff friendliness bar, they are all high because I could set it anywhere but high or average so I set it high.
In saying that, the course if a favourite of mine and I always enjoy playing it.

We had visited the course several weeks back as a visual "preview." It was impressive at that time. On playing it this past week (Dec 12), it is more than impressive, a Keeper! Its greens are manicured and run very true, not to be confused with easy. The fairways are an eye-catching green, even for this time in Florida. And, at times, it is difficult to determine the "signature hole" for the course, there are at least 4 that capture the visual and playing characteristics of Juliette Falls.

never have been dissapointed at this course. always in very good shape and not overcrowded after 11 am

The fairways are almost like greens. The greens are very fast and are in perfect condition A+!!!12/08/2012
