When Juliette Falls Golf Course first opened in 2008, Golf Digest ranked it is one of the top five best new courses in the country. In a state that boasts more than 2,000 courses, Juliette Falls stands out as one of Florida's finest. Unlike the many flat courses that can be found in central Florida, this layout tumbles across rolling hills and slopes. Plenty of water and waste areas come into play but the wide-open fairways balance the course's challenges. The quality of both the design and the conditions of the golf course have helped it hang onto its ranking in the top 10 golf courses in Florida. Juliette Falls G.C. is also a great place to get some practice in. The 10-acre practice facility includes chipping and pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large undulating putting green, and a natural grass double-tee range.

Summer golf in Florida is a challenge. Juliet Falls makes the challenges of hot weather worth it. It is one of those courses that have all the qualitites for people who like elevation change, challenging bunker placement and quick, true greens.

Sometimes while playing Juliet, I realized this is more of a desert layout in which you would find in Arizona, Palm Springs even. And the greens, even in the summer months, they are quick, well maintained and if you end up on the wrong side of the hole and grain, you better have a good short stick.

When the snowbirds get back, and the seasonal rates kick in, it is worth every penny if you find a decent rate under $50. The rangers are always cordial, and the staff is nice throughout the house. I can't really comment on the food, but my playing partners have never complained. Also, there is a full service cabana at the turn which is well stocked.

My conclusion of Juliet Falls is: A treat to play, challenging, (Viking Tips, they make it a long track!) and not what you expect when palying in Florida unless you play in and around the Ocala and Dunellon area. My good friend even threw a hole in one on #3, from 185yds. The plaque was bought and is prominently on his wall. Yes, he did get the round at the 19th.

Very nice layout. Greens are undulating and challenging to two-putt.or to chip.

The layout of the course is excellent.
Because the greens are fairly large, undulating and fast, the course is very challenging, more than the yardage would seem to indicate.
One problem in the winter is that, for the past couple of years, the course has not over-seeded the fairways. As a result, the lies can be very tight and unforgiving.
Overall, the course is still very enjoyable to play.

I Enjoyed Juliette Falls

Tough course but fair. The greens were in really nice condition unlike most of the courses in central Florida. I will play there again.

This is a fun and beautiful coarse. The greens are very challenging

Juliette Falls is always fun to play. It's greens are true and fast. The whole coarse is always in great shape. It has a beatiful clubhouse pro-shop and great reasturant and bar area. The staff are always ready to assist you in anything you need. Great coarse to put in your favorites.

Best Public Course in Central Florida

At first glance, the ~$50 price tag before noon seems a bit steep. Find the great deals bot here on Golfnow and other places and enjoy. Nothing like playing on a great golf course.

Tee time switch

Had 2 pm tee time through golfnow checked in. Did some practice went to teeat 155 found 4 players with tee time. Checked clubhouse stated the 3 some showed up with 4 and they will move me. Not a big problem besides no communication if I wouldn't have checked. Not good

Slooow play...

Well it was a beautiful day weather was great. Pace of play was terrible... 51/2 hours is much to long for 18 holes. Not sure I would drive an hour to play this course again.
