About

Holes 18

Style Parkland
Par 70

Slope 124
Rating 69.3

Pumpherston Golf Club, designed by Graeme Webster, offers a superior golfing challenge, including water features over the length of the 6,000-yard, par-70 golf course and R&A-standard greens.

A round at Pumpherston Golf Club begins on Paraffin Young, a 398-yard par 4 that requires a straight drive and attention on hazards surrounding the green: bunkers right, deep rough behind. Hitters unpack long games on Pentlands, the 516-yard par-5 10th, which features a narrow fairway, requiring a straight tee shot; 150 yards from the green, the fairway drops, making a tricky approach. Close the round on Iranapol, another long hole, at 505 yards and par 5, and where water guards the green, meaning that length alone won't help you.

Book a seat in the Pumpherston Golf Club's clubhouse early - and let the clubhouse caterer know about any dietary restrictions, which the staff can work with - and head up for lunch and a drink with views of the golf course.

1st time playing here.

Grest little course..thought the layout was great .

Greens were in fantadtic condition for time of year. Fairways a little heavy and wet in some places but to be expected for time of year.

Only other thing was there's a little bit of a walk between some of the tee's.

But overall a smashing course with good practise facilites and very modern clubhouse.

Will defo be back.

Wet weather
Walked

Pumpherston Golf Course 8 Jan 23

Weather was poor for the first 9 holes, but the course conditions were good considering the amount of rainfall there has been. Played off mats on the Par 3's, the fairways were quite soggy but the greens were great to play on.

Very enjoyable course to play and a comfortable walk.

What a great course

We played on a day when the weather was absolutely brutal. The heavens opened 10 minutes before teeing off and was torrential for 2 hours. The fairways had a lot of standing water but the tees and greens were absolutely immaculate. It has a fantastic course layout with a few blind tee shirts and multiple dog legs, a course where you really need to play from the neck up. My party all agreed that we'd definitely come back on a better day. The service in the shop was great as it was in the 19th hole. I would highly recommend this course.

Fantastic course

The weather has been awful so the course was holding a LOT of water this made scoring tricky but it’s a superb layout with a lot of variety. A real gem.

Great course - will def be back

Despite the mini hurricane while we played here, this is a fabulous little course….we played here while winds were gusting c30mph which made it tough to compare, but all told beautiful course, lots of challenging holes, lots of beautiful surroundings..

Great nick considering the amount of rain

The rainy season arrived on Sunday afternoon with torrential rain continuing through the night but we decided not to cancel. It kept raining for most of the round and we saw two other golfers when going down the first fairway then didn't see anyone else on the course apart from dog walkers and kids playing in the puddles.. Course was in great condition considering how much rain had come down and the pond at the 13th was still dry.when my ball landed on it so I played it out without any bother. Still prefer it in the sunshine.
