Designed by David Postlethwait, Cimarrone's manicured course conditions and challenging design provide a fun, player-friendly experience for players of all abilities. Beginners will enjoy Cimarrone's well-defined fairways and magnificent greens. Advanced players will appreciate numerous risk-reward opportunities provided by strategically placed bunkers and a water or marsh feature on every hole. A total of 17 lakes surround the golf course.

This course a year ago was not nearly as nice as it is now. New ownership has made a huge difference in a good way. I have played this course probably 20 times and the last two times I have played I have been really impressed.

The fairways are not in good conditions. There are no yardage markers. 200, 150 & 100. This is a basic ask to put a marker out in fairway for distance. Greens need help !!!! Won’t play again.

We were treated like guests should be treated and the course was in great shape for “winter” in Florida. Very steady play with people in front and behind us but waited very little and wasn’t pushed at all. We would play it again.

Huge upgrade

Ventured up towards Jacksonville to play Cimarron and found it to quite enjoyable. Course was in good shape for so early in the season. Nice driving range. Pace of play was good but not hurried. Lots of water but not unfairly so. Traps were in good shape and I know this firsthand because I found a few. It was a positive experience that I’d gladly repeat.

The course is a better price than those in the same area, but that is because several of the greens are very bad. Overall, it was decent. The guy in the pro shop is enough to make me pay $15 more and go across the street though. Does the guy behind the counter at a golf course realize they don’t own the course??
