Cimarrone Golf Club

I had played the course years ago and then heard it had fallen on hard times. However I understand new ownership came over summer of 2022 and I must say the course appears to be coming back. The tee boxes in fairways were in very acceptable shape and there were only two greens that really needed work. The layout at the courses great with a lot of dog legs and a lot of water to work around and is very scenic as it passes through the neighborhood. Definitely great value for the money and I'm glad to see that the new ownership is taking pride in the course and the starter and everyone in the pro shop was very friendly as well.

Course was in very good condition and pace of play on a very windy conditions was good. Every time we play here the conditions get better and better. Great time for all.

Not bad shape. A couple of greens not good. Overall not bad for February. Pace to slow for weekday 4 1/2 hours is to long.

The investment in the course is very apparent. Greens are the biggest issue. Hopefully the growing season these will get better quickly. I can’t recommend to friends until there is improvement there. Fairways are getting better and growing season should help.

Of secondary importance is the practice area. Would be great to have a place to practice chipping and sand shots.

New owner truly knows what they’re doing. It’s amazing to see how far the course condition has improved in just a matter of months under the new ownership.

I used to play this course on a regular basis with my regular group in the late 80's when it first opened & all through the 90's & early 2000's when our group broke up. I've played it now on then & have always liked the shape of the course & reasonable price.

I havent played Cimarrone in a couple of years but after reading reviews of course condition deminishing and now rebounding I wanted to check it out. The layout was always challenging and enjoyable. very nice tract for position shots and also go for it shots. It looks like course and new owners are doing the right things and I have no doubt this will be a premier course for top quality play. Most greens were in great shape just a few not optimal - but it is winter and we had a couple freezes recently. Keep up the great work and I look forward to playing it again soon!
