Cimarrone Golf Club

Most of the greens are a lot better than they were back in March. There are still a few that are lagging but overall the course is markedly better than 8 months ago, The new staff is doing a great job trying to improve the entire facility.

First time playing course in over a year. Conditions then were horrible. Today was a different story. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Most the of greens were too. Some has some weed patches. But the pace of play for a mid morning Monday was insane.

Nice layout with a lot of potential as they invest in the course. Greens are hit and miss but the course is fun and I look forward to playin for again. Keep expectations in check as they make continued improvements. Friendly staff made it a good experience overall.

It is getting better and better ..

Been there 6 times in 3 mo. I’m a regular at St. John’s. South Hampton . Queens harbor.. it almost up to those conditions and as nice as a layout or better than most..

The new ownership has been doing great bringing the course back!! Highly recommended!!

I have not played Cimarrone for a while because the condition had gotten so bad. I was told that with new ownership it was improving, and most of the recent reviews concurred, so I came back with high hopes because I love the layout so much. It is DEFINITELY improved from the last time I played it. It is still not in the condition for the price charged, but very happy to see it continue to improve. Will be back.

Lots of renovations going on…overall looking better. Greens still need to improve. Water in play almost every hole.

Played it a few months ago and it was in terrible shape. It’s obvious the staff is doing a good job bringing it back.

Staff makes the average course fun to play. Place people further apart for pace of play. Thank you.

The new owner are investigating and you can see the difference. Can’t wait to see how it will look next year.

We had a 2:07 tee time, and the 1st tee was backed up with three groups in front of us. The play was so slow that we quit after 11 holes. The price was very good, and the course is in pretty good shape, except for a few of the greens.

Never played the course before and was fortunate to be paired with a couple of members that joined earlier this year. They were talking about the changes they have already seen since the new owner took over.

The course layout had a ton of character. The course overall was in pretty nice shape for the price. The greens rolled really well. Only a couple were mediocre.

Highly recommend checking out this track.

I live on the South Hampton course across the street but was unable to get a tee time for this day so decided to give Cima another shot. I used to play here regularly but the course was almost always in disrepair. Nonetheless, I still play here a few times a year because I truly enjoy the layout. Let me tell you, I was beyond surprised when I teed it up on this day.

Finally, this course is getting some love and it’s definitely responding. It’s not perfect but easily the best shape I’ve seen it in for some time. Greens are in the best shape they’ve been in in at least 5 years. Again, not perfect but good. Definitely slow though. Fairways in good shape also. Some bare spots here and there but definitely not anything serious. Tee boxes were in fair condition. They did have 16 partially closed since they’re servicing the fairway. I’m good with that.

Will absolutely play here again. If you’re considering giving Cima another shot, do it. 😊
