Cimarrone Golf Club

At least 3 of the greens were nearly unplayable. The course is in bad shape. The greens should be roped off to keep the players with no course etiquette from driving their carts too close to the greens. The wooden board lining the bunker on 9 green was terrible.

The need to make money seemed to take precedence over player enjoyment. I had a 1:22 tee time and there were 4 people lined up behind me. Now I understand they had different tee times but where was the. Course controller. 15 mins per hit is a bit excessive. I stopped after hole 6 due to length of play.

Not sure what 's going on with the greens, but it's bad. I'm sure I'm not the first to comment on it, but they appear to have a disease or something.

In the past few years I’ve played this course in about every season of the year on periodic family visits to St Augustine. The layout and natural beauty of this course is always endearing, but the conditions ebbed and flowed.

On this day it was clear that changes were being made. From the greeting to the obvious grounds improvements, the intent was clear that whomever has control of the reigns is working to make this a better place. It is on the up and up.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to another visit when I come back down from Nashville.

The greens where far from green. One green was over 90% sand. They should of gave us a discount for the course not being well maintained

The course is undergoing improvements since new management company took over. The course is better than the last time played.

Haven't played in 5 years. Course is greatly improved. Will definitely return.

Was informed by starter that course had just been purchased by new owner. I hope The new owner or owners plans on investing some money in revamping the greens.

Cimarrone has been one of my favorite courses. It has some very beautiful holes. Water can be in play on just about every hole but the fairways are generous. Overall it is challenging but playable. I hadn’t played in a while so the course conditions this week was a shock. The greens were in terrible condition. Some had barely any grass, some had an obvious disease and some were in pretty good condition. The same could be said of the tee boxes. I really like this course and hope that the above issues are on someone’s “to do list”. I look forward to playing Cimarrone again and writing a more positive review.

The new owner has really improved the conditions on this course. It was unplayable a few months ago. It's in great shape now. One green was still unacceptable, but it is clear they are working on it. Overall, there has been a ton of work put into this course. I used to play here a lot. I think I will have to start playing here a lot again! Thank you, Cimarrone and please keep up the improvements.

Website states grass practice tees and there was no mention of sand topped greens. I would have picked another course if I had been aware the range was Mats only and the greens were sanded.

I can see steady course improvements with the advent of the new owner.

Once the improvements have been completed this course could rival any course in the area.
