The Amelia River Club

Paid total $66 Hot Deal normally $109. Course was in excellent condition and the staff was friendly and gave us pointers were trouble was which came in very handy.

Not worth the money. Nice folks but layout is very average and overall course conditions well below average. They do a good job selling it on the web site but very disappointing for the money. Overpaid by at least $50 per person.

As always staff is friendly and on top of everything.

Layout of course is amazing and greens were still good even though they had sand on them. Will be back.

My son and his girlfriend took me out to play golf for Mother’s Day. The starter told us the course was very quiet with few players, but refused to let my son and me share a cart, forcing him to play with a single. During our round several singles and a twosome played through our group but we didn’t encounter any other foursomes. They could easily hav let us play as a threesome on Mother’s Day, but refused because we were GolfNow players.

Had a great time, the course was in great shape, the greens were very impressive and the staff was amazing! Definitely be back to play, one of the best courses in the Jacksonville area!

The Amelia River Club was a found gem on Amelia Island. By far our favorite course that we played while on vacation. The Greens were amazing and the course conditions was great! The staff could not have been friendlier from the bag drop to the pro shop and the restaurant. The course was fun, challenging and offered a little bit of everything. After the round had lunch at the bar and grill and was really impressed with the food and the service couldn't had been better. Will definitely be back to play The Amelia River Club on our next visit.

Had the pleasure in taking my father out for a round...and wanted to treat him to a great course. He is in bad health so I wanted him to have a good day memory. Well, he did. The course was in great shape, greens smooth and roll true. Nice to have a good fairway to hit out of as well. Got to meet one of the owners at breakfast and he was just like one of the guys...I appreciated that. Thank you to all of you at the course. I will be back!

For a non-Florida resident the value wasn’t there. The course was okay and the staff was friendly but at almost 150 a head you expect better value. Major renovations going on in a few holes and the sand bunkers are a bit amateur.

This club is entirely different than it was 3 years ago in the best of ways. Everything is improved and it’s in great condition. Really great day on a great track. Go see it!

Front desk “workers” quite friendly to the locals. If golfnow/Golfpass customers aren’t desired, stop booking their member guest.

Good greens, fair ways not bad for this time of year.

Treated very well by staff and the restaurant waitresses

For this time of year, this place gets a 10 all the way around immaculate greens. Fairways were in great shape absolutely nothing to complain about would highly recommend for the price.

This is a great course, but there are 2 main issues:

1) Slow Play - over the past several months the play has been seriously slow, a week ago it took 4 hours and 52 minutes to complete a round. The main drawback here is that the course rangers, when there is one, do nothing about it. Nothing. One of them says that everyone is moving along, when they are not. Ready golf is the key here, and many of the golfers do not practice it. This past week we waited on every shot on the front 9, and there were 2 holes open in front of the group. The ranger, filling divots, didn't do anything about it when we complained on # 7. At the turn they went for food and we got on #10 before them and there was no one in front of us for the entire back 9.

2) Cart placement on par 5s 13 and 18. Not this week but last week and many other weeks before, golfers chip to those greens then leave their carts in front of the greens. This leaves the group behind them having to wait on their 2nd shot while they putt then walk back to their carts. This is an unprofessional and dumb act. Especially on 18 since golfers are putting their gear away, etc. The course should make sure somehow that golfers know this beforehand.

Really nice layout and a fun course to play. Staff was very friendly and the teetimes are running on schedule.. pace of play was good as it took us less than four hours to complete our round
