Conditions could be better
Surprisingly uncrowded and good pace of play for a weekend. Course conditions were average at best. Lots of dirt and rough patches. Bunkers were like bare ground/concrete in some places. Agree with other review re: greens - very spongy, slow, and bumpy. In desperate need of manicure.
What a shame! Could be a great course...
The tees, fairways and rough are all passable for a muni but the greens are just awful. Super spongy, slow and bumpy. Lost all motivation on the first green because they were so bad. It would be a course I’d play a lot if the greens were up kept but they were probably the slowest, bumpiest greens I have ever played.

For the price I would expect better greens
By far the worst greens I have played on during this pandemic and This is the most I've paid at a course. It doesn't add up. I pay half the price for a green fee and cart at a course near my house and they have FAR better conditions than this place. This course is super popular they have no problems booking so... Yeah, sorry for the rant. The greens were INCREDIBLY bumpy and some even had patches of sand or dried up spots on it. The fairways were okay. It was tough to push a hand cart through areas because the grass was 4 or 5 inches deep. Sand traps are atrocious, they have these dirt\sand bunkers that are hard, you can barely punch any sand. You need maybe 1 degree bounce wedges to not skull the dang ball across the green (and sadly) into another bunker. I don't know, maybe their water bill is high and so is the land fee or something.
Also I'm tired of places not having putting greens open, just put sticks in the ground, no holes and make people where a mask while social distancing, boom problem solved.

Great day to play.
After a heat wave I happened to hit the perfect conditions. I just wish my game was perfect.
Plush greens!
Had to write this review because they just repaired every green on the course and they are the softest and plushest I’ve ever seen them. Every approach shot onto the green made a huge divot and stopped dead or even backed up. Roll speed was very slow, and kinda bumpy from golf shoes around the cup but still the round was very enjoyable. They’ve done a good job maintaining the course since the terrible heat wave a few weeks ago.
Course condition
Cut the grass, to many balls lost.recovered some but need more time than suggested to find them.
Course maintenance
Lost several golf ball in high grass around fairway.

Twilight golf
The course was in good shape. There was some deep fluffy rough. Greens were in good shape with exception of 9. We finished 12 holes prior to darkness. There were carts available so that was a plus. Much better than the par 3 course.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Links style kinda long the greens are challenging depending on pin placement.
Little bumpy on putting surfaces and windy after 1pm.

Good Value
I love that I can book a time as a single online. Staff is very courteous. Pace of play is excellent for a public course -- usually just about four hours (That can vary!).
Good value. Greens are a little spongy, but they are not dried out or under-watered. I enjoy playing here.
Good golf Course.
Good golf course to enjoy golf, decent amount of trees, good lay out, nice and affordable price. Excellent if greens were not as rough/bumpy. Oh Alondra where's beverage cart service? Superb if exist! Thz
Value and regulation course.
Staff always friendly. Driving range available. Course Is decent test and layout. Conditions avg but tremendous value.

Not bad for beginners, cramped
This is a nice course for beginners. There is no water, there is not a lot of trouble, and it starts out pretty forgiving. The middle of the course is pretty cramped though. Holes are laid out right next to each other so , you have to be aware of errant shots coming onto your fairway. Everything is pretty straight ahead and beginners can concentrate on keeping the ball moving forward.
The staff and the other golfers were friendly. We started as a twosome but because of slow play ahead of us, the twosome behind us caught up on the 7th tee and we joined up as one group. They were local and we had a nice time chatting with them as we played.
Pace of play was slow. Not the course's fault at all. They sent groups out well-spaced. Some golfers in front of us thought that they could hit it much farther than they actually did.
Hello, Joe. Thank you for taking the time to review the course. We would like to apologize for the delay of play during your round. Please know that this is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve ans use your comments as guidance in doing so. Thank you for playing North at Alondra Park Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon.
