North at Alondra Park Golf Course

Open fairways, big greens, a bit of a challenge but nothing out of reach for the weekend golfer or average player. As a newbie it wasn’t too overwhelming and course was playable and enjoyable.

This course is something else !!

Played on 3/9/26 and upon check-in I was told to start on 10 today. No problem. Played as a single and meet some other good guys. Played 10-18 and everything seemed like a usual day there. Walking to No. 1 hole and noticed that there was a temp green. OK maybe one or two holes. Wrong No 1-9 were being punched. NEVER mentioned and no break on the green fees. Talking to the others players and they said there was no mention of it on the web-site either. Finished the round and went in to talk to them about it. The guys at check-in said there was nothing that could be done. REALLY ?? I asked to see a manager and they said they didn’t know where he was. So asked to speak to someone higher and they able to go into an office and get the manager. The manager basically said that it was above him.

VERY VERY FRUSTRATING !!

No customer service at ALL !!

A letter has been sent to American Golf Corp.

But as expected, a reply never given !!

So in the end it is all about the money and that’s it !!

You’d think that some kind of explanation would at least been given by American Golf.

Also the temp greens were not even trimmed or cut, just part of the fairway (have you tried to putt on a fairway) and the dirt from the hole for the stick. As we tried to finished the 9 noticed that ALL the flags were being put back. Yeah the greens were sanded but at least those players got to putt !!

So basically the players that went out early were penalized…..and paid FULL PRICE !!

Alondra is a decent course, greens are kept in a fairly good condition. The staff is great, restrooms are under construction at the moment. Pace of play was good for the first nine and better on the second. Always fun to play during the week.

Fairways are pretty beat up and greens are bumpy buy run pretty smooth. Bathrooms def need an upgrade. If you get a discounted price it’s worth it

I had a terrible experience at this course. I booked a nine-hole reservation through GolfNow, only to be told at the pro shop that they don’t allow nine-hole play at that time. Instead of explaining politely, the attendant was rude, snappy, and acted as if I was trying to cheat the course. I simply booked what was available and had no idea about their restrictions. Because of how disrespectfully I was treated, I will never return.

My preferred golf course. I love the fact that they are open late. It gives me the opportunity to get a quick game in after work.
