Arrowhead Pointe At Lake Richard B. Russell

Arrowhead Pointe is a real treat. Absolutely beautiful layout, groomed to a "t," friendly staff, nice pro shop and grill, convenient practice areas, just a delight. Affordable, playable and beautiful. It's now my home course. No better value for the price.

There’s a couple of us Sc guys that love to come play this course. It’s laid out well and is a good value if it’s on the golf now sale app. The back 9 is scenic heaven on the lake.

Fairways were as to be expected in early spring. The greens were In perfect condition as well as the bunkers. I really enjoyed this round!

I understand why arrowhead pointe is rated as a top 10 public course in Georgia. It was an excellent condition, challenging, and a lot of fun.

Great golf course surrounded by nature and beautiful Lake Russell. The course is always in tremendous shape and extremely well kept Hats off to the ground keepers and an awesome staff.

We live in Greenville SC, but always play here a couple of times each year. It’s well worth the 90 minute drive. Everything is incredible

After driving 1.75 hours you hope that the course is worth the drive. Well in this case, the course is absolutely wonderful. Great layout with quite a few risk reward holes - hit long but don’t hit it wrong because if you do bogey or double awaits you. Love the variations of the holes, uphill, downhill, blind tee shots. The greens are in excellent condition, a little slower in the morning due to the moisture on the ground, but when they dried out around noon…. Rolled very true with several undulations. Not much to offer for food choices at the turn, snacks, couple of cold sandwiches, but I was there to play some golf. Great course choice. Looking to return soon.

MJ and his staff provided superior customer service. MJ comes out on the course to ensure everyone is having a good time. When he heard a member of our group had a hole in one the previous day he came into where we were having breakfast with a flag with “hole in one on 15” written on it. Totally unexpected but appreciated by the group. Well done!

The course is dry and playing well

The issue is lack of resources.. we hit off at 10.45 am and by the end we were get cart warnings to return the carts by 7.30 pm.. We eventually finished at 4.05 pm

On the 14th tee - we had 4 groups on the hole and we could see the problem. The 16th hole was empty as a 6 some rolled up to the forward tee. Our cart informed us about 40 times we had to pick up the pace of play or a marshal would make us skip a hole - as we sat 15 yards behind the people on the tee in front of us..

You would think the carts could tell where the other carts are located

We called - we complained at the turn .. no one ever turned up...
