Wet day

The course was a bit wet due to the rain the last few days! But course was ok!

Great wee course

Love playing this course. Well kept fairways and greens and great price too. Can get a bit marshy if there's been heavy rain but course is always still playable and well looked after.

Beginners!

Great municipal course for a beginner like myself. The course was soaking wet this time of year to be expected however the leaves could be blown off the course or at least an effort made to do so

Great little course

Great little course , fairways in good condition greens good but a little slower than I’m used to and paired up with friendly golfers . Good to see a lot of younger golfers playing also . Will suit beginner golfers for sure and great value for money . I paid £4.50 for 9 holes which was well worth it .

Pleasantly surprised

Haven’t played there for 20 years.

My son is just getting into golf and knightswood is a great starter course, very forgiving and enough challenges and variation to test the new golfer.

Course was in really good condition. Fairways excellent, tee boxes neatly trimmed and greens were in much better condition than my home course.

The only criticism I would have is there was no hole number or information on the Tee boxes. It’s always handy to know which hole you’re on when playing a new course.

Overall though I was quite impressed

Great flat course

We were having a pleasant round until a person jumped the fence at the fourth

So we were getting held up

And when we got to the sixth there was someone practicing with a bucket of balls 🤬

Great wee course

Wide fairways, with very little danger (other than the amateurs that use the course).

Knightswood GC

Played this course for first and last time, obvious reason why it was only £9.50 a head.

Member of staff at portakabin very pleasant and helpful.

* no signage on roads in vicinity of the coarse not easy to find you think you are going to a BMX track

* coarse in poor condition loads of divots on fairways and green very hairy and slow

* flags / pins very small similar to what you would find on a pitch and putt coarse

* 3 ball behind us on first tee no problem, halfway way up 2nd fairway there is a one ball standing on tee clearly jumped on.

* speed of play very slow

The course is not worth £14 when can I play 18 for the exact same

When you pay for playing and the people in front have just jumped on without.

Money you pay its not worth it when you can pay more or the same and play 18 holes
