Golf course review

Too many people jumping over the fence and playing for free. Watched a man climb over the fence while we were on 4th green. He jumped onto the 5th tee hit 3 balls and held us up pure ignorance.

Nice wee course

I’ve played Knightswood many times and in general it’s a nice wee course not much in terms of danger but a good place to have a practice. Pace of play is good it’s well kept for a council course.

Love knightswood

As a 9 hole it’s great. Few interesting holes but nothing taxing. Very relaxed.

Poorest Greens in Scotland

Glasgow life saying these greens are fit for purpose. They must be worst greens in Scotland. Dalmuir golf course ran by West Dunbartonshire council show what can be achieved at a public course.

Knightswood golf course

The course is a mud bath your ball gets buried in the mud when you take a shot. The course is contastly water logged the drainage is terrible and the layout is not very good. Plus dogs and children steal the balls h and they're divits and holes everywhere, rubbish and obstacles on the fairway and grass not lifted stops your ball dead if you can find it. Needs a major revamp.

Value for money

Course was in excellent condition and represents value for money. Took nearly 4 hours due to the time of the day and the large number of 3 and 4 balls ahead of me. If you are looking to get back in the game or are looking for a quick 9 holes this course is highly recommended.

Feel Robbed

Thought i would try this course as i had some spare time in the morning and could fit a 9 Holer in. Wish i hadn't bothered, Horrific course.

Horribly maintained, greens are just substandard fairways with two foot pins in the middle. Random humps and bumps on the fairways for no reason. Poorly laid out course with no real thought it its design. Clubhouse looked like a a deserted youth center. Can't believe there are members in this course it's absolutely shocking.

Only positive is the friendly staff member who was in site, very polite and pleasant. Hope he gets a move to a better course soon as
