Beautiful Place SLOW Pace
Too many tee times. When the wait time is over ten minutes for your next shot you cannot get into a rhythm. That’s my only complaint.

Best in the area.
Best designed and best conditioned course on Golf Now in the area. Only issue today was the pace of play. There was a fivesome in front of us but they were waiting at times too.
I'll definitely be back on another Hot Deal.

Excellent Greens
Course was in great shape tee to green, especially the greens. The greens are the best in the entire CSRA right now. Very quick and held nicely. Only issue was I couldn’t get any roll on the fairways. They weren’t wet but still very little roll. Also cart path only on 2 holes of Chester 9. Not sure why, course was plenty dry.

Great Layout
Second time on course. Conditions not as good as first experience (one week after their club championship) but still adequate. Love the layout. Makes you use your entire bag. Bad weather day but pace of play was going to be a problem if we had continued. No water to drink on course in summer is ridiculous. Open driving range with balls that requires additional fee per person if you get a golf pass greens fee deal is not customer friendly. I will play again because the layout is challenging but fair.

Kid in pro shop was terrible
Course was in great condition, young guys at cart barn were very helpful, grill staff was excellent… but what ruined it all was the kid (young man) working the pro shop counter. He acted like he couldn’t speak. Asked him what time the restaurant closed, he just shrugged his shoulders. He had the personality of a wet dish rag. Pace of play on back nine was 2.5 hours. Course was great! It could be such a great place to play or be a member. Lacks small touches on friendliness right now
Sounds like you must be his mom to reply with comments like that😳. Yes, his job is to know the grill hours, to tell people who have never played the course where to get the cart, and also to tell people checking in for their round which of the two nine hole courses they are playing that day…. None of which he did. When a customer asks a question, you don’t shrug your shoulders…. You speak! Make sure you make his bed this morning too.

So you’re complaining about a “young man” who didn’t know the hours of a place he wasn’t working at and had the personality of a wet dish rag? Well you sound like a condescending jerk. Why don’t you look it up online? It’s there. Are you that incompetent? Or do you need to complain because you don’t know how to read or use a phone. You have the personality of a stupid “old man” who cries when he doesn’t get what he wants. That young man is sweet when I go in and is funny. You shouldn’t make someone look bad, because you’re an idiot who can’t do the easiest tasks. Lacks small touches on friendliness? One to talk. Your first response is to bash them online, funny how you don’t give what you want in return.

If this isn't the best deal in golf- please find one for me & let me know!!! I'm a member of 2 private clubs & find the value of a round at Mount Vintage almost impossible to beat- great track- great views- great staff!!! If this were in Pinehurst where I live it would be north of $250 a round! Its off the beaten path- but we'll worth the drive- highly recommend & always have enjoyed my rounds at MV

Independent Finally !
Several times here and has always been Vintage and Chester nines. Got to play Independent nine for the very first time and Wow ! Loved it ! Looking forward to the next time we play here again.

Great Sunday Golf
The course conditions were great. Well groomed and beautiful rolling hills. Difficulty was challenging but not frustrating. The green conditions were ‘good’. They were a little bumpy from obvious aeration, but were manageable for sure.

Prefect course except still a little bumpy on the greens from being aerated. Still one of the best courses around.

I've played this course several times and can't wait to return. The course is in fantastic shape, the staff is very courteous, and I know that timing is everything as our twosome did not encounter any slowdowns whatsoever - a rarity. Definitely recommend this course!
