Arrived to find pro shop closed,and had to go to main reception for card's

Got to the first tee to find the grass could be doing with a cut or two.

Played onto first green and could not see the grass for sand ,if fact All the greens had just been cored and either waiting for sand or had tonnes of sand applied, all unplayable.

The grass around the greens was far too long if you were either side or through the green you spent 10 mins looking for the ball .No winter greens on..

Overall the course was under repair and probably why the pro shop was closed , reception should have said and we could had played somewhere else..

Weather was beautiful and only seen 3 other groups on the course ,played the full 18 holes only because the weather was so nice..Sorry but I would not recommend playing this year without winter greens, and shorter grass on tees and around greens

We Played Dalmuir municipal on the Tuesday 17th September the course was in great condition for only £12 each.

Unfortunately we turned up when they had just sanded all the greens ,which made putting a bit of a lottery ,still enjoyed the day out ,played the course when it was in tip top condition before so I know how nice it can be ,would still recommend it but phone ahead to see if greens are in better condition 👍

The greens had recently been punched and covered with sand, the green keepers should be embarrassed by the state of the greens. It’s not possible to putt without the ball taking a big bobble or running into a beach of sand. Tee boxes were messy and clearly hadn’t been cut in a while. Fairways also needed trimmed. It’s a shame as the course has so much potential, however has been extremely neglected. More sand than Miami Beach.

I have to say, expectations were low when I saw the price, I booked, turned up, found a really friendly staff member in the pro shop and off I went! The greens had just been re-sanded and spiked, but still played well. A great, tricky in places, technical course, will suit all handicappers. Some great views and will recommend a visit if you are ever in the area.

Tried to cancel booking early in the morning of the day I was due to play due to sicknesses and was refused.

I note the cancellation policy with golf now is 24 hours in advance but normally a golf now credit is provided when cancelling over 1 hour before the tee time. In this case nothing was offered which was disappointing especially considering the course was not busy (many tee times available).

Course is in poor condition, greens were extremely bumpy having recently been treated.

Course was great. Testing conditions. Greens were a bit slow but not complaining. Few golfers ahead of us were extremely slow and wouldn't wave us on. Still, I'd play there again

Cracking course, no driving range as per this app states, just a net to hit the ball in, there is a putting practice area which is quite decent. But the main thing is the course, every hole is different and has its challenges, loved it!!!!

For the price and with plenty of availability this is a good option to play a testing course that would benefit from a little extra tlc.

Played this in August and it was honestly like winter golf it was so wet. Fairways are very mossy and hold a lot of water and the drainage is awful. Greens were in good condition albeit a bit long.

Very tough course to play. Really enjoyed it. You have to be a very straight hitter off the tee. Take plenty golf balls with you. Finished with a birdie at last and nearly had a hole in one.

Not very good condition at least 100-200 yards walk from green to next tee on every hole grass cuttings everywhere wasn’t impressed sorry
