Bumpy greens
For a municipal course, it's in pretty decent shape. I wish the tee boxes were a little more flat as some were a bit uneven and hard to get a good balance. The greens were a bit bumpy ...not sure when they aerated but didn't see much signs of it being recently aerated. Overall it's a nice course and I would play it again.
Another banner day at rec park
Greens good and almost recovered completely from punching.
Fairways and tees in great shape
Love this course.
The first hole is unplayable
The first hole is placed along side the driving range so the fairway is filled with range balls. This makes it hard to find your ball
Discount the rate when the greens are being aerated
The worst thing is showing up to the course and finding out the greens are being aerated after paying full price. GolfPass and golf courses need to let people know when they are aerating the greens, and also give a discounted rate. The greens were so bad yesterday, from being aerated.. it was impossible to putt.
Bad organization
A tournament started at 1 pm and our round started at 2:30. Neither the course nor Golf Now let me know this was happening. We played the front 7 holes and then had to go back to the first hole to play again as the tournament was backing up the back nine. 10 carts sitting at a par three on back nine and 6 carts at hole 8. Played 1,2 and three again and then skipped to number 8. Still backed up on back 9 so left the course. Phone ahead and ask questions if you plan on playing.
