Recreation Park 18 Golf Course

Too many long par fours not reachable in two, especially with the wind; rough was a killer; greens did not hold; too hilly of a course

I have played this course many times before without issues. This round had horrible pace of play and was in horrible condition. Fresh lawn clippings on fairway, greens, and roughs. We had 2 groups ahead of us sitting at the tee boxes and fairways never ready to take their shots playing an odd scramble type game and was holding everyone behind them up. The groups in front of them were 3 holes ahead and by the time we got to hole #8 there were 4 groups waiting to tee off fire the hole. Informed the ranger and clubhouse of the issue with slow play and was told they paid their money like everyone else. No help at all with our justified complaint. We will never return to this course again.

For a public course , its always fun to play. Pace gets better after the back 9.

This was a great course well kept. even it was busy, still play went well. Only things i did not like is if you not in the fairway it was hard to find your ball.

The people running the place were Great.

4hr 40 min round, which is right around the average for a weekend afternoon. Dozen unrepaired ball marks per green. Bathroom by the 14th tee is out of repair (and very smelly). Everything else about the course is above average.
