Unknown group showed during round
Prevented from finishing ground due to slowness and unknown group cut in front during round. Basically, no one to alert issue. Very offended as member of our group came from out of town and felt very embarrassed.
Slow and poor greens
This is a well worn course. The greens are extremely slow. The rough is short, but sadly not short enough. Every time a player hits a ball in the medium rough you immediately lose sight of the ball. You literally have to stand over the ball to see it. This may be the reason for the extremely slow pace of play.
No Starter
Very disappointing to book a tee time and not have a starter to organize the tee box.
Nice Course but Slow Play
I have played this course a couple of times over the past month. The course is in great condition for the dead of summer. The main drawback is slow play caused by too many groups of five. I don’t know why the Los Angeles area courses allow this but it is really ruining the game.
I play here almost every the pace of play varies from good to horrible :-p. Can't control how some people play :-) I enjoy the course..its very "forgiving" for my druves that dont always go straight :-) Today the rough was a little deeper then usual.. could use a little trimming..other then with my club :-p or I could just learn to hit straighter :-) Over all nice course. !
Will not go back
Played this course for the first time. Pace of play was ok and the course itself was good. The issue I have is that I book this on the GolfNow app for 4 players. The 4th player was not able to make it and I let them know at the front desk. They said no problem and they add a single with us. That's all great until I get an email saying that since my 4th did not show up they are charging me for that. I have a problem with that after they said no problem. If that is the way they do all their customer how do they still have people going there.
I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS COURSE DUE TO THIS FACT.
Long & Slow
We went off in the middle of a huge tournament. Play was very slow. It was also the afternoon and the greens had seen a ton of foot traffic so nothing rolled true. Overall conditions were pretty good and the staff was very friendly. Not bad for a public course all things considered.
Pace of Play
Never understood people who play in a group of 5 and then want to take forever each shot and slow the pace of the entire course behind them. It’s completely rude and inconsiderate. Groups of 5 should only be allowed on weekdays and at certain times. Courses need to understand that Money can be made daily but time can never be replaced so save some time and play somewhere else until they decide to stop allowing groups of 5 on the weekends and peak hours. Just my opinion...
Nice straightforward course
Nice course for the average golfer. Good grass on fairways and tees. Greens in good conditions - a little bumpy. A little slow, but it's a public course that allows 5 somes. Play sped up in the back nine. We'll be back
Hidden Gem
First time playing this course, and was pleasantly surprised!!
Terrible
Has a 7:56 am tee time, got out on the course at 8:15 am. Course had a tournament ahead of us, no Marshall, no one cares about the pace of play. Finished at 1:36 pm. Terrible.
Good for the price
Nice course and layout with greens in fairly good condition (seems to have been aerated within the last few weeks). Pace of play seemed slow (sometimes 3 groups waiting on par 3's) but got done in less than 5 hours.
Nice Course
Very nice conditions. It's been raining a lot so the grass was better than the normal public course. Green size (small) and speed made for challenge, especially because of windy conditions. Not very crowded during the week so it was a fast round (under 4 hours).
