Not worth it
Horribly slow pace and was insane. 3 hours and 50 minutes to play first nine holes. Back nine was a bit better so ended up with 6 hours 40 minutes. MLK day golf… there was a tournament there so every hole was backed up and literally it was waiting game. Only thing I liked was a green condition and it is good enough to give 4 stars.
6:20 Pace of Play!
Took 3:10 mins to play the front nine on a Sunday.
Did not finish the back because it got too dark, despite having a 12:30 tee time (with sunset at 530 pm).
Won’t be returning on a weekend or maybe ever until they switch to 10 min intervals.
Jamming the place too full ruins the what could otherwise be an ok course.
Horrible booking
Showed up on time before my tee time , only to wait another 47 minutes to tee off. They refused to refund or compensate for their double bookings of tee times. There was a literal 10 cart wait on hole number 1 and throughout the entire course. It took us 40 minutes to play 3 holes. I strongly suggest to play elsewhere. I have not seen this level of incompetence when it comes to teeing off when you’re supposed to. My original tee time was at 148 I didn’t tee off until 237! Completely unacceptable!!!
Fun round in the strong wind
Other than slow playing behind a group that’s super slow it was a fun round.
Saturday back up
Course is undergoing a new system, so tee times were backed up. Great staff, always friendly! Good course to play.
Nightmare Golf!
On a Thursday, and very excited for our first time at this course...showing up to a see golfers everywhere. From the the practice grees, to the driving range, was already feeling uneasy and dissatisfied from the mere presence of overcrowding. With a 12:30 tee time, we arrived more than an hour early, and couldn't even get onto the driving range. Golf carts were 8 to 10 deep at the 1st hole (No exaggeration). Groups of 4, and sometimes 5, were going out every 4 minutes. We started 50 minutes late and took almost 3 hours for the first 9 holes. We decided to leave...would never complete before dark. Nightmare!!
Greens were good. Fairways so so and bunkers above average for a public course with a lot of play
Start and POP are a bit of a mess
Too many weird 2somes being sent out mixed in with normal 4somes and 3somes, as I was getting to ready for my tee time they sent out three 2somes back to back and one of the 2some refused to group up with one of the other 2somes, he shook the shop guy off and just went out anyway. What sort of organisation is that? How is that even cool?
And of course in front of us there was yet another weird 2some teeing off about 45 minutes after the original debacle. For a short course it took 4 hours and 20 minutes. There was a back up on every hole, we waited on every shot. Nobody out there helping push the pace.
Look, the place is decent, it’s a nice County course, good conditions and a fun lay out. Very popular in the local area, they do take care of the course fairly well, up to the usual Country standards that is better than City standards.
But they have got to sort out this mess that we keep seeing at every county course. Somebody has to put there foot down and say enough is enough, regardless of whether these old timers play all the time. They can’t be running be the place as if they own it!!! There are other people on the course who just want to play on time and move through the course without unnecessary delay!! It’s beyond ridiculous how anything like that is even allowed to happen all the time without recourse
Great course.
Great course, pretty good practice facilities. Better than expected greens. Wish the pace of play was better. But seems to be you got a lot of groups that are regulars. Good peoples tho! Great course if you’re new in the area and want to get to know people. Just be able to map out 4-5 hours of your time.
