Westchester Golf Course

9th and 10th hole under construction they did not tell u this when we purchased green fees. Still paid full price 70$. For two. The whole front nine and some of the back nine was under construction for new water sprinkler system. Most of the courses was ugly.

Golfers have an innate sense of honesty integrity are polite eager to help and are gregarious.. I always enjoy meeting my new golf partners. Westchester has never let me down.

I learned to golf playing this course routinely. Understand more than 50% of people playing here are first-timers, next 25% are beginners. If you take it for what it is it’s a solid beginner course. But by every definition of the word it is just that. Stay away from weekend tee times.

Keep your head on a swivel as most fairways are adjacent and beginners that will not yell Fore. Also, almost no etiquette or safety thinking. Multiple people driving/ sprinting across fairways in your backswing.

EXTREMELY SLOW PACE. This is due to to both over booking and the amount of beginners taking multiple mulligans on each hole. If you tee off anytime after 7am expect a 5hr plus round. On weekends you are almost always waiting for 2-3 groups after the first hole to tee off the 2nd. Ridiculously slow for the length of the course. Good luck getting a tee time before 7 though.

Also right now the Bar/ restaurant is under construction and they don’t have any bev carts or food options.

One bright spot about this course is that the greens are mostly well kept.

The tree workers cutting down trees, equipment all over the course, pace of play terrible 10 to 15 minutes delay every hole, just ended up leaving after 9 holes, will never play again and recommend you don't either!

I played here with a couple buddies for the first time on a Tuesday so pace of play was fairly quick. For a first-time golfer here the starter was extremely unwelcoming and left a very bad first impression of this facility. Course itself is pretty short and is in average condition but a lot of the par 3s 'are very similar. I' d only go here again for their driving range.

Best thing they have is the driving range and that's minimal at best. Staff is extremely rude and be prepared to wait after the first hole. Waiting 45 minutes after completing the first hole. Marshall came back and did nothing about it acting like this is what happens everyday. Fairways are beat up and greens are just as bad. Definitely not coming back again!

Look I love golf but this reservation process isn’t helpful when you are compounding tee times.

If you want to wait 30 minutes after your first hole, you’re in luck. The Marshall said this is normal and thought nothing of it. They have a lot of work to do here.

It’s first time to play here and asked my son and daughter in law came from OC to try out this course. Unfortunately we’re given a cold welcome by the starter with such unhappy attitude. After 6 holes my golf cart battery ran out which it’s $22.50 to rent and I called the starter for help but he said the cart never stop working just need to do some troubleshooting instead sending someone to help! Of course, it didn’t work and I had to move on so walked with my bag to hole 9 and asked for a fresh cart. Again, the unhappy guy was getting upset with me because they could not find me…lol

What a terrible experience !

Great course thru golf now.course in good condition. Challenging.plays fast early.

It’s not very easy to play by night. Tee boxes and green are enlighted but not the fairways…
